Budds Creek 2013- My daughter Maddie and I were waiting in line to meet RD yesterday at Budds Creek. She suffered from heat stroke while standing in the hot sun. While being cared for by the paramedics, there was a knock at the door. In walks The Champ!! He wanted to make sure that she was okay.

There are so many "Athletes" that our kids use as role models. Most of them are not worthy. Here is one of the Greatest motorcross racers in the world, with 45 minutes until the first moto and he came to check on my daughter. This was a gesture that came with no fanfare. No one knew what he did. Ryan, you are World Class!!

This is one reason why Ryan Dungey is my favorite rider. A class act all the way around.

Pretty much anybody you talk to that has regular interaction with the riders will tell you that Ryan is one of the nicest and most easy to approach riders. It's just the way he is. Great story.

sometimes you gain fans a thousand at a time when you have an awesome race on national tv ... sometimes you gain fans one at a time ... and sometimes you gain your fans a thousand and 1 at a time, good job, RD

You just took this to a weird place.

Awesome story, he is the kind of guy you hope your kid grows up to be.

I stood around his pit on Friday and a couple of times on Saturday.

No question Dungey is a good guy. He took his time for the fans, especially the kids, etc. Honestly he went out of his way to take care of any fan he came into contact with.

No doubt he is a good dude.

Glad your daughter is ok, she couldn't have any better support then the Dunge. Outstanding gesture from him.

Good stuff. Nice to hear about when riders do stuff like this for the fans. Dungey is a good dude, one of the fastest guys on the planet on a dirt scooter, wealthy and has a smoking hot girlfriend. Not bad shoes to be walking in. Go RD!
