This is the reason I never speculate or pretend to know the future.

Good stuff! Thanks for pulling this back up.

dungey wants to prove to the world that it isn't roger that makes/made him a winner...it's ryan dungey and if he goes to ktm with roger again that pretty much kills that attitude.

and his mom and dad are more intuitive and intelligent when it comes to the sport than most people and i would hope they can see the inadequacies with the ktm compared to the others. that is my opinion anyways and i could be wrong.
And yes.... you were wrong. Again. Move along.

Its actually hilarious reading this thread now.

Alessi, great kid.. but, still getting great starts and fading like crazy. Dungey, still steady, and dominating. If Poto, Canard, Reed etc were here, it would be an epic season, with wins being traded amongst the top 5 guys. Alessi would be right behind those.... Stewart would be either leading, or doing what hes doing now.

But.... OOPS.... the KTM is WINNING... and by a huge margin, with an outstanding rider on it. I called it.

I put a $100 on Dungey. The "person" said he wouldn't win a SX. Guess what? The deadbeat still hasn't paid. I'm sure he won't. Shouldn't bet on the internet, lots of untrustworthy people.

I laugh so hard when people talk about KTM works in Europe and will work in the USA. You must work for KTM cause they always say that. Not saying KTM's aren't good, but they break down.

I hope Dungey signs with KTM and the bike breaks down and causes him to loose the Championship. Oh Wait, that happened with Suzuki this year. Good job Mike Webb!
Dumb post and Wrong to say the least!

I am starting to like this!

I really hope Dungey stays with rockstar/makita suzuki, as many would assume that he would struggle on a GayTM. Plus, i thought Dungey recently signed a multi-year deal for 'his own' rockstar/fox gear? If that is the case then wouldn't a deal with redbull GayTM be impossible?
Ain't this ironic! look at his Avatar nowdays! Sporting Dungey on the pumpkin, extra awsome!Wink

I was wrong & happy to be wrong. How quickly KTM made the bike competitive is truely remarkable, I thought it would take them another year to get this success.

And there are even more little gems floating about too, there are a few guys frantically going through their old posts and deleting stiff I bet Grinning

Last month I put a link to this but didn't dare to bump it,man you guys are brutal Woohoo

Mind you its even more appropriate now, well done KTM,seeing how they've done over here and their whole approach to the sport, maybe it'd been better to reserve judgement until thing unfolded in the US afterall

Plenty of people here, and everywhere have bagged on KTM's for so long.
I remember when the 350 spy photos were out a couple years ago and everybody dogged the shit out of it for "Steel Frame"
"Old Technology" and everything else about it.
Now the only production 450 being raced in the ama Nat.s with a steel frame wins it all
Awesome bringing this thread back out!!!!
Congrats to Dungey, KTM, may be a dominating force in the U.S. for some time, if they can keep good riders and most importantly, keep Roger from retirement
