How can you tell anything from a ackward shot, especially with James sitting on it. The more sag, the more the front will appear to be raked out. Who does finish the season these days: Last years champion didn't complete the season. The 2nd place finisher was out for 6 weeks. The people that should have finished 3rd though 7th all went out with injuries (Reed, Windham, Stewart & Canard). Oh man, sorry for your loss. Our 3 year old swallowed a battery on 12/21, spent the night in the ER. He'll be OK, but I think flashes of what you're going through went through my head. Best wishes for the healing process.

Doesn't a longer stroke increase torque & a shorter stroke increase RPM? So, by shortening the stroke you're also decreasing torque which decreases the calculated HP? I know you're right with the trend of higher revving motors, but how are they maintaining the torque at the same time?

I think the only pressure, is the pressure he put's on himself (which is probably allot). It depends on his confidence. If he's feeling really good & knows his speed is there, I bet the pressure won't affect him too much. If he's not feeling that great on the bike, the added pressure will probably push him into mistakes.

Also the base of the Radiator Shrouds where they rub the frame.. A high hour CRF will have grooves worn in the frame from the shrouds. Also where the cables rub on the VIN # @ the neck.
