Bzzzt.

If I believe one rumor I've heard, he's got a new contract headed his way to ride a yellow bike.

After so many shitty injuries this year... finally some great news! AMA Motocross isn't the same without Stewart on the gate.

freakin awesome... Im a big Dungey fan, but I wanna see Stewart kill it outdoors (take the title possibly) and then take it to em in SX and get at least one more SX championship. Go JS7!

why do people think hes scared to race RV? do you forget that he had to race against RC?
I agree... I think if he raced Nationals each year he would still be whooping butt indoors like he use to. I also think he would be killing it outdoors as well...

This is the worst thing for his competition and best thing for him if he wants to keep racing (and he doesnt get hurt).

James cant win with you guys.

If he doesnt race yall say he is a pussy.

Now that he is you say its cause RV is out.

He already said at the beginning of the year he was racing the nationals.

RV should have the * for the SX season then. All his competitiom got hurt. So it wasnt legit right???

Injuries happen. Sucks for all of those that are injured. But the races must go on and thats how it goes.

Saying he is only racing because RV is out is bullshit.
Despite some might have inadequate critique towards him, still some racist around? I think his chances winning people over is unlimited, in contrast to chances of the rest of the world to adapt to his rather unpredictable behavior, previous lack of walk the talk.

What is the reason why the community feel frustrated? At one point, like 2004 I feel a large portion had issues with him being black. But people adapted to that, now I think the frustrations "are legit" as in a sports community between fans and athletes.

But, him doing the outdoors is the best news I have heard in years, and if he will walk the talk, and continue doing that, I'm sure the shit storm will settle and he will win a majority over.

But's is just my opinion of course.

If he is on the Suzuki, he is my pick for the #1 plate.

I know a lot of you people think he is washed up, but I'll be quoting myself on this at the end of the season.

All I can say is if you've never seen James Stewart outdoors, do whatever you have to do to go see a National this year. The guy is incredible. For a moto fan, going to see Stewart, RC, Bayle, Bailey, Hannah or DeCoster outdoors is like some kind of pilgrimage. You can't be a moto fan if you've never seen that.

I don't give the first damn about any of the drama, gossip, bitching, whining or other assorted idiocy on the boards. Go see the guy race, stand as close to the fence as you can get, scream your ass off and go home with a cleansed soul. He's a one-of-a-kind rider and you might not have a chance to see him again.
That is a quality post. No doubt!

Check your history bro. Last time JS7 triied his hand at the MXoN he didnt finish his second moto and we ended up getting lucky with Ferry coming thru.

It's fucking sad... I hear it all the time around the tracks. From all kinds of people you'd expect and some you wouldn't. I find it comical that because I'm white the white trash dirtbags assume I'm cool with the N-word. They have all kinds of excuses why they don't like him but then the N-word comes out. SAD!

Poor Dungey:Sad

No respect, not even from his own fans Laughing

I can see it now....

James wins title= legend
Dungey wins title= Asterisk

Great to see James racing the outdoors, after RV out with injury this is the best thing that could of happened to the outdoor season.

I predict a 1-1 for James at hangtown, after a couple of races who knows?

If he stays on two wheels it's his too loose. However The Dunge knows how to win titles and has learned himself to be a lot cooler headed these days. I don't expect James will have an easy season.

It's weird to me too. Dungey was at least as good as RV last summer, if not better. If it wasn't for the bike problems, he would have won the title IMO. Somehow people seem to remember RV destroying everyone last summer. That wasn't really the case.

I'm excited that Stewart is racing. It would have been pretty boring with Dungey out there dominating every week. Smile

So true.
I have seen him race outdoors a few times and it is never disappointing.
The battle at Washougal with RC comes to mind, both going warp speed and RC ends of falling while going up the face of a jump, flying over without his bike.
I believe FTE has some nice pics from that race.

If James struggles with set-up for a relatively smooth, graded and pre-planned track how the hell is he going to get a set-up for a gnarly, dusty, rutted, pot holed track with dropp off's and G outs that can almost change from lap to lap along with twice as many riders on the track?

Danny Dolan had this to say about JS7.
“A competitive world offers two possibilities. You can lose. Or, if you want to win, you can change.”

I think it's funny how we just watched Stewart wad it up over and over at all these SX races this year, but now people think he's just going to switch bikes and be champion outdoors this year. So funny. He's been riding that same bike for four years people! A Suzuki 450 is that much better of a bike to make him a champion? Good luck with that theory, he'll crash himself out for the season with another concussion by the third race on any bike he ends up on.

Some of you Stewart fans are just ridiculous. What is this? The fourth year of the same garbage from him?

I am still a big Dungey fan, but with the way this year has gone I have found myself rooting for James hoping things would go his way. I was at Unadilla 2010, heck if you watch the first moto Im the one holding the sign saying "Bubba Who?" on the Alli video. I saw what happened, but guess what Im no fool and I know what James is capable of and that is beating not only Dungey but also RV.
