There was a lot of discusion about timing and waiting on a ride. I just want to say to everyone that if you have chest pain or discomfort of any kind to call 911. I have been a paramedic for 27 years and hate to remember all the people I've seen who waited and died, at least 10 right in front of me.
Men are worse than women about denial when they have chest pain.
Women have less typical symptoms than men.
Someone mentioned "time is muscle" earlier, remember you can't get that muscle back once it is really damaged.
Most metro areas have specialized cardiac centers called STEMI centers, they specialize in rapid treatment of cardiac blockages and are your best bet if you are having the "big one". Paramedics can read an EKG in your home and get you to a STEMI center right away.
I'm not ripping on Jeffro here, I just want to lay out a general reminder to you guys to take care of yourselves.

Pinched nerve in his neck
Had us all worried.
Take FTE's and captmoto's advice seriously.
Jeffro-Glad you got checked out and didn't have to "do any time" at the big house. Get better!
A friend of mine for years kept reminding me to breathe and I didn't think much of it until recently during a stressful event I realized how shallow my breathing was. Make sure you're not holding any left over stress from all of that by taking some really deep breaths without any distractions going on in the background and clear the mind as much as possible.
Visualize a healthy heart and feel your yourself relaxing.
Okay that will be 25 dollars and I'll see you next week.
Too soon for jokes about seizing up in front of a keyboard?
Regis, glad someone finally figured out the WPW. A good doctor or paramedic would have identified it sooner, but at least it's under control.
And Jeffro, glad you had a good outcome. But don't hesitate to take the ambulance next time!
Pit Row
I had one last spring. Stress Echo I think they called it.
Took my heart from resting to 181bpm in a matter of minutes. Had all kinds of wires hooked to me. sweating like a pig. bring running shoes or the like and shorts.
That test will tell everything thats going on with your heart. kinda cool in a way.
Good luck bud.
Talked to my local doctor again today , and I go down On Monday for my blood tests again to see what my thyroid is doing. And then Also on Monday ( not sure yet if it's that day or not ) I have a "stress test" to do , so they can figure out what is going on with me. The main thing that I am totally relieved about , is my heart checked out ok , and so did my first initial blood tests.
I can't say thanks enough for all the support I got here in this thread! Even from guys I have had debates with on here , took the time to respond , and that goes along ways with me. We may disagree on things in moto sometimes , but when it really counted , you guys were there. Thank you!
I'd vote you Vital member of the year, Jeffro. RIDE ON
