Date of Birth

Chad Reed is a professional Motocross/Supercross rider from Australia. He left his home country of Australia as a teenager with his girlfriend Ellie to chase his dream of racing the MXGP World Championship. He was impressive during his time on the MXGP circuit, and as a result he got an offer from Yamaha to race the AMA Motocross and Supercross series. He delivered Yamaha a 125cc title in his first year with the team, so they quickly signed  him to their premier 250cc team. Despite winning a 250cc title with the team, he would eventually leave the team and sign with Rockstar Suzuki. He won the 2009 AMA Motocross title with Suzuki before departing to ride for Monster Energy Kawasaki. Unhappy with the bike, he left the team to create his own team, TwoTwo Motorsports. He ran TwoTwo Motorsports until it shut down in 2015. For 2016, he signed a two year Supercross only deal with the newly formed Factory Yamaha team.
