So you're getting excited by "the show". You're really gonna pop a bone if they actually let them race.
Define “Schools” please …
He kept in front of him, wouldn’t exactly call it a schooling. Eli must’ve slept on his neck wrong again, Couldn’t pass Hill for most of the heat…
I'm a fan of both. I wouldn't go so far as to say Webb schooled Eli. Webb DID drop him toward the end though.
I wanna see this come down to the final race.

Webb is a wild card, he's got the skill, the drive, and he usually doesn't crash,....and I think the AB training is paying off, Webb gets stronger toward the end.
More like Tomac and Webb got schooled by 20 seconds today!!
Webb got 4th. Judging by your comment, if Tomac learned from Webbs schooling, he would finish the season with 4 fourths. Chase’s lesson is something to strive for, rather than Webb’s.
Tomac is playing chess while Webb and the others are playing checkers. He gave up one point today to Webb and is six points ahead with four races remaining.
I'm a Webb fan but Tomac is in control at this point, neither one of them had a great race and neither one could catch the lead pack. The issue I do have tho is what's with RC and the non-stop shade he throws at Webb?
RC loves Webb and can’t stop praising him every race?
Both guys were well and truly dropped by Chase, Bam & Kenny. That was the only schooling going on.
As a CW fan it was good to see him hold off Eli for the full twenty, though I feel like Eli had the superior pace, but not enough pace to pass Coop and drop him in one move. Eli is experienced enough and smart enough to know that he probably stood to lose more than he would gain getting into a knock down drag out, tit for tat battle with Coop over a single point.
It really would have been exciting if AP didn’t bottle the on/off in the final rhythm. He had the pace to force Eli’s hand there.
Yep.... RC has a chip on his shoulder for some reason with Webb. Last week he made some comment about how Webb is where he is due to luck this year. Then there's the "speed" comments. Webb ran with Tomac in the 1st triple crown last week. Kept him at bay today. Tomacs won 7 races this year....yet he's only 6 points up on Webb.
Seems that's been the story with Webb from the early days....from being overlooked and passed on for AC, to the media hardly ever giving him props. It's like they are "forced" to when he does well. Webb just keeps Webbin and chalking up one of the greatest careers in the sport.
The RC Tomac nut-swinging is in full swing though. (...and I like Tomac)
To be honest, without all the brainfarts by Sexton, it should be him at the top of the points right now.
I wouldn’t say Webb schooled Tomac. More like Webb survived Tomac.
Cooper is going to have to get a holeshot and win one or maybe two like Chase did today to have a shot. He can’t count on Tomac having a bad race. I say that as a Webb fan. Eli is still in the driver’s seat. Still a good bit of racing left though, so conceivably anything could happen. Either way, it has been a great season to witness as a fan of the sport.
Is it just me or does Eli have the red plate and a 6 point lead in the series?
I honestly believe Eli was playing with him
Maybe, but would have been better is if he passed and gapped Webb. That 2 point swing could haunt him.
Curious to see how things go next week, Sextons not out of it.
Pit Row
And if Eli wins next week and Webb is 4th??
Yeah Webb probably shouldn’t have pulled out the guns over a heat race win vs Chase. Could come back to haunt him if it gives chase a little extra motivation to keep him, and the points that go with it, behind him
With Barcia, Plessinger, and Roczen riding well, another win by Chase could easily put that points gap into single digits. Those top 3 were flying today.
Eli clearly didn't want to go too hard and risk crashing. He knew the worst case was to lose 1 point. But he was off today that is for sure. There really is no beast mode this year except at A1. Could be his age now and/or the 2023 is just not settled for him.
Some people were saying before the year started that DF14 and Eli were not really happy with the bike despite what they were saying. Who knows if true? Someone must.
Truth. Chase has a shot.
Just not alot of turns or technical items to differentiate skill. Seems Tomac wasn't "comfortable" and didn't see a clean way by Webb and wasn't willing to push it for 1 point. The top 3 were gone so seems calculated. Tomac didn't seem stressed about it at all in the post-race interview.
It’s because they’re both short. Ricky thinks taller guys have an unfair advantage with their long legs.
Yes, there were only two sets of whoops…🤔😎
Anotha’ one.
Well think about this…the Carmichaels made a lot of money off of Star yamaha right? RC really swings on Tomacs nuts and is always saying since tomac went to yamadog from kawasaki hes blah blah blah…he wants tomac to beat webb
