I think he had an impressive race.  But I also think that he showed just how juvenile and petty his behavior was at the end of the 2025 season, also.

Man!  What a ride!  Chase looked like he was riding a 2x6 his bike was so stiff. Kawasaki cannot be happy right now. 1 Kawasaki in the top 10.  Great ride Jorge! 

ok then he would have been what 6-7th? Still great and much better than last year...
People were acting like he'd be in the LCQ most weekends and struggling to make the mains

I'm still trying to figure out what all of this is even about. His behavior last season was terrible and I said as much. Does this performance wash away what happened?

I've also said he put himself in a position where he HAS TO perform this year. 1 down... Let's see how he fares over the next 16. Hope he makes it outdoors.

Who could have foreseen that a rider with an extremely successful 10 year career and 4 world titles can actually ride a little bit. He looked great in videos of him training, he looked great all day and he fully deserves this podium 

yep 6 -10 is where I see jorge overall in SX.............

Put yourself in his position.. if you know you are good enough to be right up front and the bike or team is holding you back, of course it would be frustrating.. Then you have the media and fans etc coming down on you, but YOU know inside that if the equipment was better then you could be right there.

I don’t agree with the quitting or just riding around, but he clearly wasn’t lying when he said the bike/team is holding him back.

We also don’t know what went on behind closed doors, maybe he wanted changes that the Kawi team was not willing to do, they have a history of not letting riders make the changes they want.

Well we all could see Prado was not himself on kawi last year. My dad only follows the GPs and I showed him one of the AMA outdoors and he told me "wtf is wrong with prado, you can see this is not him something is wrong here" It was his only view of prado in america

Official results put him 4th. Either an error or he got docked for something. 

Where are you seeing this? I just had a decent look and couldn't find anything corroborating that

Prado is extremely talented and this proves it. He gets a podium in only his..what...fifth or sixth race in 450 SX? 

What a talent.. 5th sx race and on the box. impressive ride in one of the toughest sports in the world! 

That was a 3 point penalty for failing sound check (didn't know that at the time of my first reply)

And 26 seconds back, faded all the race.

Amazing showing for today. I’ll hold judgment till half way through the season. Can’t lie he surprised me. 

He’s bloody stylish too isn’t he. Not many of the guys toss it like he does when he’s flowing. Pretty incredible how good he is after looking so shit last year.

I’ll admit he was way better than I thought he’d be. That being said it’s A1, let’s get into the season and see how things go when he has some adversity and in this game he will. 

I was wrong about him in a way. Chase and Marchbanks struggles show something about Kawasaki too. Prado still acted poorly last year.
