Family matters deserve privacy and are none of our business.
We don’t have to know what happened or is happening, but it would be nice to know if he is planning to race this weekend. Fans making their picks for the weekend would be better knowing if a top 5/6 rider is or isn’t racing. Edit to add: really didn’t see a simple mention of fantasy would turn into people claiming I was demanding his personal info for my fantasy team.
No mention of anything is a little strange to me. Makes me feel like it’s less of a family emergency and more of a pissing match with Sexton sniffing around the team. Edit to add: This is now a week old and I’m now leaning even more towards thinking this whole thing is all about the contract.

Nah...Anderson has been on the other end of so many take out moves, and I imagine he knows how to take it as well as dish it out. For him to do anything really stupid to Sexton would be out of character.
When you pursue a career in the public like he has and your salary and livelihood depend on fans, You understand giving up a level of privacy is part of the game. Our business or not is irrelevant..
Fans want to know what happened…let’s not pretend that is unreasonable.

He’s races motorcycles - what about that makes it so damn important to know his personal matters? How entitled do you have to be to think you have a right to know everything about a guy just because he’s a motocross racer and you like watching motocross racing?
And he already took a minor shot at him the 2nd main of the triple crown. He could have really got him then if he was feeling some sort of way
I think his fans have some concern. Imagine a quarterback in the NFL leaving the stadium just before the game started and nobody knew anything other than “family emergency”. I think we were all concerned and worried about his family. Then you’re halfway through the week leading up to the next game (or race in this instance) and there has been no update on status of any kind. I think fans in that realm would be pretty damn curious too.
I hope his family is okay. I’m a fan of his. I’m not searching for details of the man’s life, just curious if he is racing. I would understand if he said it is going to be a while or even sit the rest of the series. I just think it’s strange to make no kind of update whatsoever by this point. Just my shitty opinion I guess.
