I just don't get why they spend so much time trashing a  bike and company .  They are so dedicated!  I wish they would go out and try riding one. I'm not saying everybody should buy one and only ride it. But before You form a strong opinion against the tech and company. Try riding one.  A buddy of mine had a total 180 on many of the shortcomings he thought electric would have  after riding an Alta for 5 minutes.  Maybe they still hat the bike, maybe they dislike it even more. But it just feels so strange to have a strong dislike for something that You have not tried.

No way we could ever beat the E-tards to a stark thread.

Nobody is the least bit surprised that you got "excited" thinking about Jody....

Talk to your local promoter, they’re the only one who can answer that at this point.

Yep, this picture was released a few days after this interview (at FIM explorer Osaka round where HRC came out in force with dozens of engineers).

That should help Feld, AMA and the FIM find a place for electrics racing sooner rather than later.

They already have a place. It's called the E-bike class. Do you really think they are going to allow Honda's toaster to compete against ICE without significant restrictions?

If Honda tells them that they have to….yes.

When there is more E-bikes on the track than ICE bikes come back and we will have a real conversation.

I guess it will happen sooner than we think. I might be very wrong but I don't think garage work with greasy hands is what is trending on TikTok at the moment with the kids . I guess many die hard anti-electric folks are pretty handy in the garage, maybe they also preferred 2-strokes cause they could jet them perfectly. We'll, that trade is a thing of the past. You are not that important in the future.

I'm not as confident any longer (as I was 1 year ago) but I do think the 'white collar crowd' will start to ride dirt bikes more due to electric.

Well.... they did it before....2-stroke/4-strokes.     If the AMA has proven one thing over the years, logic isn't their strong point.

The reason it never got rolled back is because 2T was going to be outlawed. By the time we understood that was not going to happen 4t was dominant and 2T development out the window at most factories. Not totally unlike how we are being force fed EV's.

We have a man in place that admits a mistake with a commitment to do better. His actions so far have not indicated any reason for me to doubt him.

I had an opportunity to work for Rivian a couple years back.   Had former co-workers who tried real hard to bring me in....but I saw the writing on the wall.

Heads are gonna explode....I confess....I worked on the Impact, GM/Hughes joint electric car project back in the 90's.    That didn't take off either. Grinning

We even had a conversion GEO car, I drove home a few times.

Electric isn't the solution....  Even the twinkie Biden is backing down on the mandate for electric cars due to the custmoer pushback and utter collapse of e-sales.

I enjoyed the interview.  Anton is a straight talker with very little BS, similar to Elon.  However, I think Anton is a better speaker than Elon.

I really like how Anton acknowledged that there have been a few setbacks (footpeg supplier issue, lightweight tubes) but had a path forward.

Our family had been huge KTM supporters over the years, but the 2022 SX125 crank issues, 2023 SX125 EFI issues, 2024 SX250 piston issues, and 2024 SXF250 parts availability were really frustrating.  I can understand having issues with a new technology (2 stroke TBI/TDI) but KTM corporate's extreme non-acknowledgement to the point of out right lying made us re-consider ever buying a KTM product again.  Our local dealer was extremely helpful, but as of last summer, KTM corporate "wasn't aware of any issues with 2023 SX125".  At the local/region races, almost every single person was having problems with those bikes.

I believe most of the issues have been solved with the electronic power valve coming off and the aftermarket ECUs; however, I can not stand when people lie to me.

I do feel it's a little easier for Stark to be straight forward as they are a much smaller company, however, lying has't ever been an acceptable answer to business problems.

Do you realize that you said they’ll have to put restrictions on “the toaster”?   That’s low key saying it’s a superior motorcycle while trying to disguise it in name calling.

Elon full of BS, I wouldn't say that comparison is necessarily a healthy one.

It was a good interview, it's good to see the company talk about the good and the bad. It's not really a surprise to have some teething problems when it comes to a new company with a new product, it's how you address those problems. We expect non-chinese companies to stand up for their products that's what makes western companies great, but when they don't stand up for their product it's easy to take that personal.

None of the haters must have watched it, since noone is mentioning one particular thing.

More power automatically makes something superior....

Dry Break System by IMS

The IMS Dry Break system enables the racer to fill 4 gallons in 7 seconds to minimize the duration of pit stops. Additionally, this component bolts onto the IMS gas tank and works in conjuction with the dumpcan and probe, together they allow you to fill up your dry break ready tank.

The SRT Offroad Quick Fill Receiver has been developed in house by SRT’s team with a focus on performance. Furthermore, they’ve done this while keeping an enticing price point. SRT followed their extensive design process with years of testing and direct use by their professional race teams across the nation. Lastly, the SRT Off Road Quick Fill Receiver is machined from billet aluminum and includes a single spring door retention system.

Full receivers include:

Choice of IMS Dry Break Receiver or SRT Offroad Quick Full Receiver

Vent

Bolts and gasket for installation

Dust Cap and replacement parts sold separately

Dumpcan with Probe:

3, 4, or 11 gallon capacity

3 and 4 gallon dumpcans require a dumpcan stand to stay upright and protect the probe

Replacement probes and dumpcans (without probes) available
