Well at least ONE of them are so delusional that they don't even recognize the fact that they are disliked as much as they are .. ...honestly,  its almost a shame

This is going to be like the text editor update that made the site non functional for some for weeks but we were told it was just a setting on our keyboard..... and then it finally got fixed.

Link confirms I haven't blocked anyone as well. The posts that showed up as blocked for me previously now seem to be visible.

This had to be a thing where admin blocking someone or enough people blocking someone applied it to everyone. Maybe that's fixed now?

Tested the feature yesterday. There might be a glitch.

I hovered over the person's avatar on PC while in a Moto-Related thread, clicked Block, and I stopped seeing their post in Moto-Related.

I went to Non-Moto and could still see all their post on that part of the forum.

Yeah .. pretty much this ^

The up / down vote distraction really only serves to fuel some sort of pathetically desperate need for validation of the fourteen year olds & shuttered incels that comprise the majority of participants.

And then if you can't stop crashing all day, every day, it means it's time to find a new hobby.

thank you for this feature. bye attention seekers

Although I wish I wouldnt see anything from the user I blocked, I know im not gonna read the messages from mf and co, so I dont need the option to show it.
And: I still see their gibberish in quoted replies. Would be nice to get rid of that aswell.

It's now showing that I have 'goober blocked, or at least it says that in place of his posts. Maybe the program has a trigger sensor and automatically blocks a triggered poster? I haven't intentionally blocked anyone:

Can you post a screenshot of what his blocked post looks like? We have a feeling it's caching-related and based on other users that have someone blocked.

So there is a upside to the glitch 🤣

It's not doing it anymore I see all of his posts now. If it happens again I'll get a screenshot.

He's probably concerned you would harm yourself if he did and doesn't need that on his conscious.

I'm thoroughly enjoying the block user feature already, thanks ML!

Maybe we can have it send a notification to the blocked user saying who blocked them just as one final middle finger that they can't do anything about 🤣

Maybe a notification every time a user didn't see their post because that user had blocked them?

Hiding entire threads is stupid. The ability to hide some of these guys that just post nonsense is great though.

I know you didn't ask me, but since it isn't doing it for Ape any longer, here's what it's still doing (sometimes) when I open threads (and I haven't blocked anyone) -

That's the issue.

Instead of guys blocking just so they can't see responses from posters. They are going to block just so they can say F you. You could always just not read the post from the guys you don't like.

Either way I feel like a pussy for responding to this thread.

Hiding down-voted comments makes it easier to unclutter threads, easier to follow the exchanges, plus you know who posted it so you know if it's likely to add any value to the discussion or not.

OTOH not sure what hiding threads achieve, if they're off topic there's a place for that, plus you never know if the hidden threads are the same than last time you visited Vital or if it may be a new thread that could be of interest to you?

For me parsing through some threads titles, some of which might bear no interest to you doesn't really detract from the experience, unlike trying to find relevant comments among the spammers.

Jeez, what a mess all this VitalMX BS has become. I never seen such "See you next Tuesday"s as I seen in here lately.

The VitalMX "clique" in full effect, is really sad. (Free MagooFan from the righteous indignation of the mob)

Good Lord why?

VitalMX should do away with this fiasco, it is just the "inmates running the asylum."

And do away with the dungeon and up/down votes while you are at it.

Thank you

You posted a simple fact: it’s about “engagement”. Period.

And you have people disagreeing with said “simple fact”…or they don’t like it…or they’re…well…just “disagreeable”…? 🤣

Still, I’m enjoying the fact that some folks have reached out to me to tell me that I was or…I am… “auto-blocked”.

That’s interesting.

Has anyone explained why?

All of this anonymous thumbs down blocking woke protect us bullshit makes me want to “engage” less in here. Case in point. Mx file guy makes a post about the trailblazers banquet and gets downvotes , sounds like a couple real motorcycle enthusiasts there… lol.

When we say things like “soft” or “too sensitive”…

We can take a look at that we have here…& know we’re right.😂

I think the saddest thing is that the average user on this site is over 30. I wouldn’t be so “wowed” if this was a middle school group chat but I am.
