Really glad he's still out there racing! Such an awesome personality and overall just a badass dude.

I get tired of seeing โ€œfansโ€ bag on AF. He has immense talent and a drive to not quit. Wishing him the best.

Damn heโ€™s been through a lot. Iโ€™ve always been a fan. Iโ€™ve been tracking him all year and his ups and downs. Overall heโ€™s still in it and progressing. Hereโ€™s to continuing to grow this summer.

Very cool story!

Ironically he probably hates CNN (based on his political beliefs).  ha ha.

Been in California my whole life, we have the best weather in the country period, we have beautiful mountains, beaches and great riding from tracks to the mountains to the desert, a great church family, yes our politicians are some of the worst, taxes are high, gas is outrageous, and the politicians still canโ€™t define what a woman is, insanity to be sure, but there are a lot of us left here fighting to keep California great, not giving up hope on this great piece of landโ€ฆ yes we admire what other states have to offer with better policies but honestly besides my pocket book it doesnโ€™t affect us, our kids are grown and no longer school age (we homeschooled them, problem solved) so for now, pray for us, we will do our best to hold it down for the next generationโ€ฆ Gods blessings

Agreed. I said it before, but if I went through that same crash that he did last year, I probably wouldnโ€™t even want to ride ever again. That was such a violent crash. Then you have the outdoors round where he finally came back healthy, ate shit right out of the gate, and then clawed through the whole moto with his jersey torn to shreds with all kinds of scrapes and gashes down his side.

Iโ€™ll admit I wasnโ€™t the biggest fan of his attitude when he turned pro, but heโ€™s really come around the last few years and he truly is as tough as they come IMO. Nothing but respect.

I wish I could see it, but Iโ€™m not giving CNN any clicks.

Well he also likes rage against the machine, so clearly he doesnโ€™t know what his beliefs are..

The taxes thing makes sense.  I donโ€™t want my daughter learning about Christianity at school.  She can learn better lessons than that her value as a woman is being traded for cattle and the circumstances in which itโ€™s ok to forcibly be married if sheโ€™s first raped by a man. (Deuteronomy 22:23-29)  Both in your Bible.

Maybe we can all decide whatโ€™s right for ourselves and stay out of each others business.

Rooting for Austin to get back to where he was on the bike.

Wonโ€™t go on another rant about Ca. but typically the Pro riders live in places closest to the test tracks and typically those places donโ€™t define Ca. and can see why he is not a fan of Ca.  Getting around those areas can suck if you get caught on the 15, 215, 91 at the wrong time.

Iโ€™m from the South and Missouri nor Georgia are places Iโ€™d choose if I had to move backโ€ฆ

Austin's story shows us just how elite the riders at the top are. It's a giant mine field on the way to the top. I was hoping he was going to get there but damn, it's been a tough road. He has what it takes but it just hasn't gone his way.

You'd rather the state be up in your business if you choose not to validate your adolescent kids chosen gender or pronouns? LMK how that works out vs cherry picking a piece of OT mosaic law that's no longer in force thanks.

He is on track to a Tyler Bowers-like carrer. I think he'll transition to privateer favourite on the 450 and then sail into the sunset.

Welp, guess I need to recalibrate my sarcasm-meter.
