Only $10 for all 2024 SX, MX, and SMX series (regularly $30).
I believe If you want a serious chance of winning the whole thing , put Jette in put 250f and and take Webster on the other 450 ,
webster on a good day can get a top 15 moto maybe even a top 10 , with jette able to get two top 5s on a hrc 250f , I don’t think any other 250f rider fro Australia will beat that
I don't know. I'd reckon Jett would be backing himself to finish 1-1 or maybe 1-2, and Hunter would be aiming for top 5's both motos. With the Olympic scoring system and those scores, that is more valuable than another couple of top 5's on a 250.
It's going to be the challenge for Australia over the next five years or so to find a third rider who can hold up an end at MXoN. Would be a waste of the opportunity if we couldn't bag at least one MXoN in the next few years with the Lawrences.
id say they would put hunter on a 250 over Jett
id love to see what webster could do (450) or even Crawford on a 250
The Shop
Webster and Beaton would be the fastest two riders at the moment. But I think Webster being on a Honda gives him the nudge.
With the Lawrence's going 1-1-1-1, I reckon Chad Reed has 1 good moto left in him........
Crawford everyday of the week......
All depends on what teams will let there rider drop back down to a 250 and have a bike built for them...
Webster has firepower bikes accessible
Beaton Might be able to get a CDR 250 that they use for WSX ready
Don't know if KTM with do a bike for Crawford
Dazzy Lawrence
Jay Wilson
This is the correct answer
100% Webster - proven this year by winning 6 of 9 races at Nationals. Has more heart than any other racer here in Australia atm.
Pleaseeee put Jett on a 250 so we can watch 38 smoke his ass
Yeah go #38
Is the 38 actually going to go this year?
If Webster was chosen, maybe US Honda supplies all three bikes?
id throw hunter on the 250, bring webster over to the lawrence compound for a few weeks prior. Usa honda bikes all round would be sweet
Stephen Gall, who’s an organiser of the Aussie team, and a big supporter of Webster, just spent a couple of weeks in the States doing the rounds. I have no doubt MXdN discussions were had.
Depends on Sexton, it Sexton won’t then wait for Star racing to say that they won’t support the event and take the bullet again.
Im still fine Grapeape..
Pit Row
Deegz won't ever beat him on a 450 so it would be his only opportunity to get a win
Wilson Todd is by far the best choice for a 250 if he's healthy by then. On 250s he's both faster and a better starter than Crawford and he's also on a Honda. Todd and Crawford could still probably put 30 seconds over Ferguson with ease over the course of a moto.
For 450s though, I'd maybe slightly give Beaton the nod over Webster with the track and his GP experience (Beaton went 5-7 there for 6th overall in 2022) however I'd assume Webster being on a Honda would be advantageous for the team as opposed to both Lawrence's on Hondas and Beaton on a Yamaha. Anyway, I'd wait to see how the rest of the Aus Pro MX series plays out until MXoN to make a pick.
Edit: Just realised after posting this that Webster is a great starter, and would likely be able to start top 5 both motos, whereas Beaton isn't a bad starter but he's not on Webster's level. Webster's starting ability would be much more beneficial in the MXoN than it would in the Aus Pro MX series since there's only about 8 riders in that series that finish with 70 seconds of the winner, so even if say Beaton or Webster started outside the top 20, they'd probably be able to work themselves up to well within the top 10 on the opening lap, whereas MXoN will have a much deeper field where passes will be much harder to make.
As a fan of the sport and this event I hope Jett and Hunter keep going to this race every year they can, but how long before they get to the point where their attendance becomes sporadic? The AMA season is so long which is often the excuse the US guys use if they don't feel like going. Seems like the top Euro guys are willing to go every year they are healthy though...
They seem to love it, i bet Dazzy does and Honda seems to be all in. They did offer Sexton full support for it last year.
So i think it will last.
Your 3rd rider wins it for you, so running Jett on the 250 and Hunter on the 450, means your 3rd guy on a 450 needs one top 10 .
Its no good being first 250 if that is 18th.
Germany won at Lommel with Roczen Nagl and Schiffer, who was nothing special, but great in the sand, and his 8th place in his first race is what won it for them. Roczen walked the 250 class, and Nagl was solid top 5 .
Makes sense to be a Honda guy IMO , but if Ferris is still decent, he knows the game.
If he even shows. Remember last year? He was all alligator mouth until Star shut it down.
That’s the worst take ever 😂
And Vialle smoke both of them ! Remembering Ernée...

Steve!
I completely forgot about Wilson Todd to be honest, definetly a contender
Home track, home crowd, I would expect nothing less.
Put 38 on a 450, so we can watch Jett smoke his ass, along with quite a few others.
