I’m not a 450 guy. Soon as they come out with a 250, which I bet they do. I’ll test the relations with my wife that doesn’t understand my need for such things.
Great news!! I don't particularly like the front number plate and haven't been a huge fan of white fuel tanks, no big deal.
I do want to see what the dyno chart looks like. Beta has a knack for peak power over a very wide RPM range. That's where the 'Rideability" comes from. Will it be "enough" HP? Will the pros like it? I think the weekend warriors will...
The black and red enduro model colors are much more pleasing to the eye but I guess they wanted to differentiate the motocross models. They had a tent displaying bikes at a race last weekend they look good and they are much more of a neon red/almost orange color.
was sold untill the brakes came into the equation, thats a bummer, all they had to do was use a brembo front brake and it would have been an instantaneous sale for most...
Cast aluminum that is powder-coated black. After about 3 years of riding, my Beta swingarm was hammered. I ended up removing all the powder coating, which was a pain in the butt.

thats what i was wondering, i wish they would have just left it raw, why even take the time to powder it? its literally gonna see the abuse!
Weve got honda, gas gas, and beta with red bikes. I wonder if ducati is gonna use red too? Thatd be a lot of red bikes out there. What color square would they use on the timing and scoring box lol.
I sat on the pre production model at MXON at Red Bud and chatted with the race team manager. Fit and finish was excellent. Should be a great bike and always nice to have more options.
The offroad Beta 4 strokes have very little engine braking due to a stepper motor in the throttle body that keeps the throttle blade cracked just a bit when the rider lets off. Makes for a real light feeling bike. And they corner great!

Red seems to sell, dirt bikes, bass boats whatever. People like red and black color combos best I can tell.

Yes everyone I know buys bikes based on the brand of brake they use 😂

First I heard on the engine braking. I’d guess many would like that, I would. Maybe it me, but 23 Honda seems to have way more engine braking than my YZF did. Took me a little while to get used to it, not sure I have.
I talk to the owner of the dealership where I bought my Beta 300 RX every week or two. He said he has taken a few deposits for 450RX. As of last week dealers couldn’t place orders. I’m bet they can now, the 450 is on the beta website.

Yeah it’s a really cool feature. Surprised nobody else is doing it. Here’s what Dirt Bike Test said about the system when they started using it back in 2015:
”One of the unique technologies of the Synerjet system is the use of a stepper motor to be able to tune the characteristic of engine braking. The next evolution of fly-by-wire FI does this without you knowing it and this is a way for a classic cable-operated butterfly valve to accomplish this feeling aside from just ignition timing tweaks so it can be much more effective. So on closed throttle deceleration the stepper motor allows some fuel and air as if the throttle is cracked just a bit. The system is tunable with software through Beta.”
Yeah the Beta and KTM’s sit kinda similar. Except the Beta has a 1x6 for a seat. Bars on KTM’s seem to be low to me, same on my Beta.
Last night I installed 20mm handlebar risers and moved my bars forward to the front hole. Beta offers them on their website. Trying to get the bar height similar to my Honda which fits my long arms. Hope to get to the track tomorrow and see how it does with the bars moved up and forward. Wish the pegs were down and back about 1/2 inch too.

Can't deny its a good looking bike!

What is the swing arm made out of?

Slick looking bike. I definitely think the race bike with the red front fender looks better tho.
That being said the red/blue combo is clean as hell. I know Triumph was saying theres no colors left to pick, but Beta solved that problem by
1. Not caring what other colors are taken and using what color they want, and
2. Combining 2 colors together. Theres red bikes and blue bikes, but Beta are the red and blue bikes. It looks slick too.
Needs to be all Red
Carbon Tank Covers
And New Bike Covers
next manufacturer needs to be maroon or forest green, a throwback to some 1995 fox vibes
Great looking machine Herb, but that bike cover is super cool 👍
I dig the shape and design of the bike, but the stock color scheme and graphics are stroke inducing. lol

I despise the stock colour combo but other than that… cool!

Some simple changes the the muffler location would do wonders for the bikes looks, if looks matter.

Absolutely gorgeous

Is KTM planning on having the same bike in every color? Beta and KTM have ties as well...just look at the frame and motor.
KTM - Orange
GasGas - Red
Husqvarna - White
Triumph - Black
Beta - Red/Blue

Ride Red
Dry weight 104,5kg
Ducati has to use Red. Its there logo. But at least the commentators wont have to say the color in front of the bike name like we're 3rd graders.
Ugh, not my cup of tea. Then again I think all euro bikes are hideous so par for the course I guess. #makenumbersbigagain
