Turkey is not to be trusted.

That's a very simple statement and one I'd love to hear your reasoning for, because historically speaking that's completely untrue.

Turkey is a member of NATO and has been since 1952. It has several strategically important bases on its territory and has always been a strategically important location for anti-ballistic missile defense systems. Turkey has been a strategic ally and partner against IS, against Syria, Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan not to mention the former USSR. They've been a trusted partner in the region for a very long time, and the Iranians have also started lobbing stuff in their direction as well.

The Israelis don't like them because Turkey is rapidly becoming the only remaining large military power in the region and has clashing interests in Syria, as a muslim country it's also been more critical of Israeli actions in Gaza and especially the West Bank. There are tensions from Western support for Kurdish groups against Syria where Turkey doesn't like those groups, and there's flashpoints on the extent of democratic restrictions from Erdogan and the current government as well as their human rights record. None of which means they can't be trusted, it just means there are differences as there are with all allies.

Here, I will help you:

I think what you really meant was, "evangelicals are the epitome of religiously driven sociopaths."

I don’t see many evangelicals wanting to kill everyone that doesn’t believe what they do, so no, that’s not what I meant.

Ole pistol Pete seems to be revelling in all the death and distraction of the non believers.

Sounds like something that fat little retard Mark Levin would say. He’s been foaming at the mouth for war with Iran.

Turkey has their own aspirations like any other regional power and an interest in protecting Turkic people in the area. Like I said earlier, it’s gonna be interesting to see what the US does when its partner Israel starts picking fights with a NATO member.

Regurgitating phrases and, ideas that aren’t even your own.
Greed driven token consumerism…. Though catchy, you made it easy to catch on to the type of nonsense you fill that empty skull up with while, pretending to be witty. I’m guessing you’re still up late playing video games while looking up, ways to throw sand in the gears of facism.

Your last sentence, is the only thing I’ll address directly/respectfully.

When an American soldier dies, what gives you the right to feel more injusticed, than that of the family on the other side when their children die?

I don’t have a right to feel injustice. It’s called volunteering. Enlisting. People don’t enlist in the military without thinking they could make the ultimate sacrifice.  As a parent, that’s recognized. I wouldn’t expect the parent on the other side to feel any less pain than myself. Yet, if I had a choice, it would be them every single time.

Chance, I’ll be praying for your son.

Hope he stays safe.

Why does the US do whatever Israel says to do?  Why does the US government back whatever Israel does? Serious question

That's a lovely AI summary which only summarises the fact there are differences. Which there are among all NATO members, on a great many subjects. Differences of opinion aren't a signal that someone is untrustworthy, there are huge and very deep strategically important reasons why Turkey will always be a critical part of NATO and a key partner to the US.

They've also been in talks to rejoin the F35 programme for the last year or more, with the Israelis being the party that's pushing back against that the hardest not the US or anyone else.

How long do you guys think it’s going to take before “boots are on the ground”
Ok better question, how long until they start building the first Trump hotel?

If gasoline is cheaper it’s not by much.

The good news is your saving on groceries and tariffs now.😂

R66 yes it is cheaper under Trump, but it had been going down for 4 years under Biden. So the good news is Trump didn’t mess that up till now.

Why is it that its always Democrats in Democratic run states and cities run by Woke politicians that complain about the prices of food, fuel and cost of living?  You people just don't get it, and probably never will.

Fuel is 2.65 here, Eggs are cheap and the overall cost of living is as affordable as it's ever been. I don't need a pretty chart to prove that to anyone.

the amount of thought you guys put into gas prices in relation to presidential elections is mind bottling.  this thread really has it all.

if anyone needs a reminder - this thread is about trump finding yet another distraction from the epstein files, and this time at the expense of all taxpayers and potentially the lives of his voter base (and their kids).
