It’s pretty simple. The US has been fucking them up for 70 years. No wonder they are pissed.

You just don’t understand their ideology. No clue. Glad you aren’t in charge. We’d all be cooked.

Find a Talmud and give it a read.

The Iranian regime is considered dangerous by many Western and regional analysts due to its combination of ideological radicalism, extensive support for proxy terrorism, nuclear ambitions, and a history of domestic repression

. As of early 2026, the regime remains a source of severe instability in the Middle East, particularly following direct military confrontations with Israel and the US, which have led to a "survival trap" that makes its actions more erratic and dangerous.

U.S. Department of State (.gov)U.S. Department of State (.gov)

This sums it up for me. You can’t allow radical Islamists to spread their ideology and have nukes.

If given the opportunity…like war? So we should give them the opportunity. Sound logic. And why is it they want that? Oh, it’s because of all the wars we have started with impunity in the region. You’re right, it’s actually really easy to understand, I’ll pray for you.

Thank you. I’ll pray terrorists don’t get the opportunity to kill innocent people.

Trump envoy Steve Witkoff says Iran claimed it had enough enriched uranium to make 11 nuclear bombs

"Both the Iranian negotiators said to us, directly, with, you know, no shame, that they controlled 460 kilograms of 60%, and they're aware that that could make 11 nuclear bombs, and that was the beginning of their negotiating stance…”

Also, after Midnight Hammer, Iran made claims along these same lines.

But, still, there are those of us that think the Iranians were dealing in good faith.

So, anyone wanna guess what ya get out of 90+ pounds of nuke-core enhanced with tritium?

And let’s combine this with their CONSTANT DECLARATIONS that they’re gonna wipe Israel (and us) off of the face of the earth…oh, btw, what’s the available payload on their larger ballistic missiles?

I don’t know if anyone was following the talks; but, from the onset…all Iran was willing to negotiate ONLY on so-called further development and they were not willing to give up the nuclear stock on hand…and for this…

They wanted ALL SANCTIONS to go away.

We wanted the end the nuke weapons programs and give up the high % nuke stock, no missiles, no more proxy bullshit and cease all terrorist support…in general.

They’d -ONLY- talk about not making anymore high % nuke material…again, while keeping what they have.

So…this is how we got here…to where we are now.

Note: There was a time when they had 3,000+ missiles and too many launch systems to count…and a vigorous nuclear weapons development program. Israel’s 12 Day War & operation Midnight Hammer is believed to have eliminated more than 1/2 off all the missiles and launchers and Midnight Hammer put the brakes on their rapid nuke core materials development.

As of the current info avail on Epic Fury/Roaring Lion…they’re apparently down to what appears to be a few hundred missiles and tens of launchers…if that.

As of Sunday, Air Superiority was established and more air assets are being deployed/preparing to deploy…

To remove ALL OF IT.

Also, the Mullahs…clerics…they’re being removed as needed…there was an Israeli attack on a little gathering in Qom…

“An Israeli defense source confirms that the Israeli Air Force struck a building in the Iranian city of Qom where senior clerics had gathered to elect Iran’s new supreme leader.

The Assembly of Experts has 88 members, though it is unclear how many of them were at the building at the time of the strike, according to the official.”

As for Air Superiority and some of the upcoming missions/sorties…

We’ve added some new assets to the theater and it appears we’re going “underground” again to finish removal of existing nuke assets. Oh, and, we’re not done removing the political leaders that spew “Death to…” and even the proxy groups aren’t done hearing “Boom, Boom! Out Go The Lights!”. The Israelis have removed some Hezbollah folks from Lebanon…and I’m thinking the Houthis and Hamas types are on the list, too.

I have no distaste for service or the people in it, quite the contrary, they are still some of my best friends and absolutely incredible people. My distaste is the way they used. And their inability to see the big picture because you do get brainwashed, it’s not a secret. And no one wants to admit that their most cherished moments, achievements, and best wishes have actually ran counter to the stated cause. America is less safe today despite all our sacrifices and it’s a damn shame, criminal actually. I have nothing but love for my country, which isn’t the government, it’s you brother, we are it. And I’m sorry if I’ve come off like a twat to some people, I’m passionate. I’ll try to do better.

My cousin came back from Afghanistan pretty messed up.
11B. He lost his best friend right next to him in a fire fight.
From drinking 24/7 to, waking up screaming in the middle of the night from nightmares 15 years later.  It’s taken a huge toll on him.

You’re not a twat for having strong feelings about your experiences. I have strong feelings for what happened to my cousin over there.

Yeah man it turns out war is intrinsically bad for people, killing people is bad for you. I nearly drank myself to death, haven’t had a drop since 2013. I’ve beat the shit out of my wife in my sleep. Had a gun to my head multiple times. Psychedelics saved my life. I hope your cousin gets the help he deserves.

I am nowhere close to being in the know militarily.  But seems to me the thousands (10s of thousands?) of drones they have would be their biggest threat?

Would Donald even notice Baron was gone?

Tweedledum and Tweedledees entire reason for being is to rake in as much money for dad as possible, so their service to the country will be to negotiate more crypto bribes and lucrative personal deals with drone manufacturers. He doesn't appear to give two shits about Tiffany, but sending Ivanka might stir an unfamiliar, momentary twinge of emotion in the depths of that bleak, empty void some might attempt to describe as a human soul. Or maybe a limp erection?

So wait is it Iran first or America first?

America first by taking out people that want to kill Americans, if given the opportunity. Idk why that’s hard to understand.

It’s pretty simple. The US has been fucking them up for 70 years. No wonder they are pissed.

50 years ago Iran was our friend and ally, we were over there teaching them how to produce oil and gas.

Then came the religious nutbags.  So, no, we haven't been fucking them over for 70 years.

So many, "then and now" photo, and video posts in the past year or so, showing the regression back a couple of centuries.

That's what so many are too young, ignorant, or TDS obsessed to understand.

And they never will.

The proof of that is in this thread.

It’s funny how republicans start to care about oppressed people if it means they get to go to war.
If a democratic admin had done this it would he crucified by most in here.

we are on a carousel spiraling towards doom and we cat get off. I feel bad for anyone with young kids now.

Bigs thumbs up to taking out hard assets. The demolition of leadership is questionable. Yes, they have been problematic, but they also owned decision-making. Regime change requires a plan, and that plan includes a Day 2 strategy, which has yet to be vocalized.

To repeat:  breaking shit and killing people is easy. Now comes the hard part.

Oh, and the first thing the Iranian foreign minister told Witkoff was, "Enrichment is our God given right." So, they weren't going to stop.

To repeat:  breaking shit and killing people is easy. Now comes the hard part.

Don't disagree, I was just trying to explain to those here that think that Iran had no intention of ramping up their nuke program.

Anytime you take power away from barbaric 7th century religious kooks bent on killing every single kafir on Earth,  is a good thing.

Just out of curiosity, have you guys ever noticed how we have never had a direct conflict with another nuclear armed power? Do you think that is a coincidence?

They had a meeting to do that….”Meet the New Boss” thing…and it was ended abruptly. That leans towards a plan for Day 2.

MAD, baby!  Plus most nations with nuclear capabilities are allies or neutral.  Russia, China, and North Korea are the exceptions.

Curious if/when Israel briefed the White House. What was uncertain leadership is now complete disarray. Not sure how creating chaos translates into a plan. But I’m open to plausible ideas not based on hope.

Early on we talked about how, this time, the planners were awfully damn quite about certain assets in or near theater…

A U.S. Sub has sunk an Iranian Warship (Frigate) in the Indian Ocean (south of Galle, Sri Lanka).
