If they pickup Jason Anderson were does that leave Malcolm.
I thought it had been stated that Mookie was out at Star Racing Yamaha but was waiting until October to make an official announcement?

Eli Tomac 》Star Yamaha
JA21 》Bobby Hewitt Honda (Could be Kawasaki)
Deano 》Bobby Hewitt
AP7 》Husqvarna (or KTM)
MM25 》KTM (or Husqvarna)

The big question is, what role will Blake Baggett play in this Silly Season. He could be Kawasaki's solution.
I don't see Marvin leaving KTM and Red Bull for a 1 year deal.

Edit: Is the Bobby Hewitt team still happening?

Mav, he's trying but won't do it without OEM support.

I don't blame him and hopefully he's able to pull it off. One more team in the pits would be great.

Is Dean Wilson’s contract up at the end of the season? I like the guy...but he hasn’t exactly been setting the world on fire.

So, what do you see for him moving forward? I heard he had some friends in the Rockstar management, and that’s what ultimately got him there...and has kept him there. Don’t know if any of that is true at all, but I hope he’s set up for a good ride, with RS Husky or some other team with good bikes for 2022.

Another guy KTM just buys instead of developing talent on their own

He's from Portland. A lot of those people are "special".

It’s a guaranteed. They would be foolish to drop both of the brothers. They’re probably the hottest commodity in the 250 class.

I could see Husky keeping him on for at least another year. He can't be costing them much, and has a great social media presence (750k on IG and 200k on YouTube), so even if he's not running at the front as much as he used to, I would think they're getting a pretty decent ROI.

Justin Cooper, Forkner. It’s hard to argue who is the most sought after.

Good thing personality and charisma are meaningless when it comes to winning races and titles..

Was about to say the same
Thing. It’s sad when personality is what people care about more than how they ride a dirtbike. But it’s no different than other sports nowadays. More worried about social likes over the win column.

Wining races and titles isnt worth what it used to be. Personality has value, social media has value, etc. Winning races is still most important but its not what it was.

I never said he wasn't a great talent. I was responding to someone asking about why the Lawrence brothers are more popular with fans and the the media darlings of the 250 class. Justin Cooper should be the top candidate for a 450 factory ride ahead of Nichols, Craig and Forkner right now. Based on how good he has been the last couple of years!
But Jett Lawrence is the more marketable star of the future that sponsors will fight over.

The kid is 23 year old and won his first championship. Dunno if he has it in him to set the 450 class on fire.

Everyone is simply looking at this year. Cooper was just as popular when he came in.

I like the kid, and hope he does great things over the remainder of his career, but, no he wasn't. Not even close.
