Before anyone cracks a joke, realize this could be you or your best friend on any day at the track, on the interstate, or walking across the street. Life can change in an instant. Is there any confirmation on the status of this man? The comments on social media are disheartening.

Agreed, seeing that makes me sick to my stomach. Hoping the rider was able to walk away without any serious injuries.

I agree a very sickening accident. No way he walked away from that. That dual sport followed him to the ground. The speed he was going along with coming to such a sudden stop. Compounded by his body absorbing the energy of the bike coming right on top of him.
He appeared to know what he was doing leading up to that. I’m surprised he would attempt such a steep transition at that speed.
My well wishes to him and his family for a speedy recovery. Hopefully he will ride once more.

I broke my femur and dislocated my shoulder in pretty much an identical crash as that. I consider myself lucky when thinking about it.

Really hope the rider is ok.

No way was that an intentional seat bounce attempt. He hit a big hole while seated and physics did the rest. Oh, and sorry for being an insensitive jerk, but LOL!

Unintentional seat bounce or kicked off, either way it's no laughing matter.

We’ve all been there in some manner or another. Best case he will need Advil for a week or so. Hope that’s it, he really smacked down and the bike kinda crushed him a little as it passed by.

This needs to be deleted. Or at least a warning in the title. I didn't need to see that

Damn, that was a huge hole he hit. Seems like he knew it was there, as someone was filming...

Tracks can have some tough / scary obstacles on them, but off-road stuff can get gnarly in a hurry when the terrain bites you like that.

You are an asshole. You’re missing common decency and probably a lot more.

To be fair I changed the name of the post. It used to be “Seat Bounce”.. at the time I couldn’t think of a name for it.

So...wonder why the dude stopped right there and decided to film? Did he actually see the hole there and filmed to see what happened? If so, what a dick!

Saw that too last night... Fuck that's brutal
Nowadays there's so much so called "content" on social media of crazy crashes or people doing crazy shit for their moment of fame. We are exposed to so much that we've become so desensitized and detached to it to realize that, as someone mentioned, these are or could be life changing moments for some. I guess some of this has been happening since the beginning of time and phones and the internet are just merely bringing it to light, but I wonder how much of it happens because of social media itself.

Whatever dude - this guy tried an Axel Hodges wheelie into a g out and was clearly over his head and beyond what his bone stock dual sport suspension was capable of handling. His buddies were sitting there waiting to video his rad stunt.

This was definitely not an "it can happen to anyone" situation. Give me a break.

You’re wrong on so many levels that it’s not worth arguing about.

Lifting your front wheel through rollers is an Axell Hodges move? You just raised my self esteem 10 points.

Exactly.

I remember a couple years ago when a young woman drove drunk/high, live-streamed it until she crashed, then filmed her sister dead/dying...while narrating. The draw of “going viral” has truly brought out the worst in humanity. Sickening.

Yup, how about those f-ed up youtube videos of the abused pets and animals. Some real twisted people (for lack of other term) out there.

The other bike was right there filming, so they must have definitely known the hole was there.

I think he planned on carrying the front over, but came down too soon.

I hope the guy is OK, that was brutal.
