I'm at Honda right now looking over the 17 CRF450R in person... Ready to see it? Check back at midnight tonight when our embargo is lifted for a ton of info...Wink ohh, does anyone have any questions for the R&D staff you want me to ask? If it's not already on my list, I may ask it.

- How close is the geometry to an 08
- Is the case ready for an add on E-start? Or will the bolt on option be less than ideal in terms of an enclosure? Is a new case half required?
- What major areas did they shave weight to compensate for the extra weight from the spring forks? And did they purposely shift weight bias back to counteract the additional weight upfront?
- Will it help me pick up chicks?

Are there the possibilities of a battery and hydraulic clutch options (and if so, at what cost) & what's the actual weight (tank empty)...

Also, any of the technicians know if it's possible to EFI equip an 08' and be done with this latest and greatest $10k+ dirt bike game? Thanks ML!

With the rumor of added horsepower, are they still going for the mellow easy to ride philosophy, or they starting to go away from that?

I just want to know if this will remind me of my last Honda, a 1998 CR250.... Or can I come home now and own a Honda again without regrets?

I read here in there that manufactures were toying with the idea of using fly wire for the throttle set up is that something that might be on this 2017 crf450?

Why 2 exhausts?
To squeeze evenly with your legs Bro! I honestly loved that when you needed to be back a little on the bike. There were two nice lumps for my chicken legs to hold on to!

ML512, what is "Ready To Ride" weight?

Will the air filter be the same as the 13-16 bikes? How about wheels bolting over from the past bikes?

With all the big news on the front forks being showa I would assume the shock is as well. Is the shock going to be the BFRC shock?

It is banned by FIM, so no. Also they are planning to have spec ecu for MX2 GP's in 2018 (or maybe even 2017).

Why 2 exhausts?
To run shorter mufflers, thus moving the weight closer to the middle.

Ask em if it's getting 1 1/8 bars and will this model not feel like it's made for midgets?
