I just noticed yesterday that Racer X is using ChatGPT/Ai to write some of their pieces now. It’s obvious as hell in their write up about the new proposed MX track in Volusia County here in FL.

This really doesn't add to the discussion, does it? Or present any logic? If the restaurants in town are bad, if I start a restaurant, are they all good now? I don't really see your point, are you saying the sport is presented well?

I think there is a lot of frustration about how our sport is presented in general. I think we all look at how other sports are presented to the public and are amazed how ours continues to seem like it is done by a high school yearbook club in every avenue it is presented. Lewis typically asks the right questions and has a good perspective, but him wasting 10 -15 minutes of weekly airtime just pointlessly bickering is a waste of his time, and reinforces the perspective that our sport is bush league.

I agree that Lewis is the best journalist in the sport right now, but we have to be honest, moto journalism isn't exactly investigative reporting. Because the sport is so small, it barely even qualifies as traditional sports journalism. I wish that motocross/supercross allowed for better journalism, but it is what it is. There isn't as much money in this sport as football or baseball or even MotoGP. This adds to the pressure of keeping the lights on by keeping manufacturers and sponsors happy. This creates a survival loop where you need access to the riders to get content, but...

Closed the gap as in he's going to be more competitive with Jett or closed the gap as in he's Jett's equal? Hunter has improved drastically but he's still the number two Lawrence on mx/sx track. Roczen is riding amazing but him being such a threat to win the title this year just reaffirms that if Jett was out there everyone would be fighting for second. He's no match for Jett. Gotta be in it to win it though!

Yeah his in laws would be stoked to piss away six figures a week and he would love to do that wild of traveling. Someone on vital told me he may quit racing and just volunteer at the local shelter.

Is Barcia really still a prominent rider though ? He's a name but with his age and the injuries he's had I don't see him getting a good ride in the GPs .

To be fair to the OP, I'm pretty sure its something Barcia said in the past. Doing MXGP before he retires. To even call him a top 5 guy in the Nationals is a real stretch.
