I did hear Big Lew on pulp say something about a prominent rider here testing the waters to see what was available in MXGP next year. Maybe that’s BamBam?

Is Barcia really still a prominent rider though ? He's a name but with his age and the injuries he's had I don't see him getting a good ride in the GPs .

He’d do better by putting Cairoli on the team full time.

I like Barcia but there is just no way he is doing 30’s in the sand and keeping up with the top 10 MXGP guys at his age. He isn’t Herlings.

This place cracks me up sometimes…

This is what I think… we saw what happened to rv and I think he was at a better point in his career. Hammering out 35 min motos in bottomless sand getting your teeth kicked in is not fun. Hey I could be like most members on here and be wrong 💁🏽‍♀️. Also I know Jack shit about mxgp or the British series

Be cool to have him ride in the UK, not sure that Gabriel SS24 KTM Factory Juniors is quite the right fit, but someone might fancy him.

Might encourage Ducati to run a team .

He might be able to race the Brits, but there are some GP guys that won’t tolerate his thick, visionless skull.

Jeez bro, that’s harsh. He must have pissed in your cornflakes! lol!

The GP guys seem to tolerate blatant cross jumping and getting cut off hard on straights so I think they’re man enough to take it

Oof, Herr lich swings and misses again

Well, I'll wear this one! But the larger point stands: Barcia is a twat.

As for cleaning up in MXGP...ah, no.

It was a long time a go - 2012 - but I always have a bit of a chuckle at how JB tried to move over onto Big Ken De Dycker going into a corner at the Lommel MXdN .

It was a bit like a Gnu trying to force an Elephant over.

Ended up with JB losing a lot of spokes from his front wheel.

I daresay JB had  Little / No Idea who he was trying to mess with............. 😁

Hey, if he went to Britain and did a bit of racing, in the twilight of his career, and decided to try his hand at a few GPs - selecting them Carefully, he might just get into the top ten, in a Moto.

Good on him if he tries it / gets someone to pay him to have a bit of a go. But he'd not set the World on fire.

Anyone remember Chad Reed having a go at a GP ( Matterley?)  at the near end of his career? People thought he'd do well - It was not exactly pretty.

I'm a big Reed fan, but his last few years racing were completely ego driven, he just couldn't let himself retire. Barcia seems the exact opposite, he's still going because it's still fun for him.
