There's no doubt it's expensive to send a team to the MXDN but there was never an issue with cost or rider enthusiasm when that long unbeaten streak was going on, and team USA were coming over once a year and kicking butt at a canter.. The euro riders had about 2 decades of getting soundly beaten but you never heard any of them complaining about the cost or saying "yeah well, it's not that important anyway..." 🙄
