Correct- the reality is that while Jett and Hunter are still racing Deegan will never win a title. Oh but maybe his new technique and magic bike set up will allow him to close 30sec on the bros. Haha let’s get real. And he’ll be even further away in SX which Deegan has admitted he is weaker at. The kid will be stuck in 3rd for a long ass time.

I get a lot of people overdo it, thank you social media again for that, but a lot of people act like any criticism of Deegan, scathing or not, is strictly unwarranted hate. Many also seem to not understand you can dislike a rider or team without not having a life, or making it your personality. Sometimes some riders are just lame

8/18/2026 10:31pm By definition, Davies cannot become a Rookie 250 MX champion because he raced some of the same series last year. If you are asking can he be this year's 250 MX champion I absolutely agree that he can...and most likely will. Bendy Kitchen is too erratic.

8/18/2026 10:29pm I mostly agree with Falcon on what makes a rookie. One race or five or ten...when you race in a series from that point on you are no longer a rookie. However, I do think rookie applies to each separate series. Although Deegan raced a 450 at the Washed-Up SX series he is still a rookie in AMA 450 MX...and...

Who are all the “world class” riders stuck in their national series? Unless they are top 10-15 guys, which I doubt, they aren’t adding anything to the race, they’re just filling a gate.

I don’t want to come off as a hater either, the expectations just didn’t make sense based on his racing history and amount of time he’s missed racing. Expecting him to score 20 points is seriously setting him up to fail.

Sounds like the dudes at club were a bunch of assholes to him and treated him like shit when he was just an 18 y/o kid. Also sexton is such a soft little bitch. I was a fan until that. I dont find any problem on current MXGP lineup. Who finished 31 place last AMA round? Would MXGP of Sweden been better if there were more riders on gate.. I dont think so. EMX races could have 40 gates but MXGP 30 is plenty..
