It's not like there isn't enough time to get these pieces on air befor or between "bikes on track". I have never seen an interview during a play in the NFL, NBA, MLB, PGA, etc.

The exaggerated excitement they force is awful. The only parallel to the broadcast I can come up with is a kids show. "We need to explain this sport for new viewers" NO THE FUCK YOU DON'T. It's a niche sport, you want people to tune in? Then make it seem complex and interesting like the sport really is. That will make people do their due diligence.

JCoop is riding for very low pay to be on what he considers the best bike. His wife comes from money so I think his priority is on riding for the best team/bike, not the paycheck. I doubt we see him at suzuki but who knows at this point

To “grow” the sport the next two races are being aired on nbc as well as peacock. Do people even have just regular tv any more? And most of the races this year aren’t under the lights as they have been starting at 7 est everywhere, even out west.

The stiffer competition really brought him back down to Earth last summer. 9 overalls and 18 moto wins, I believe. Meanwhile Deegz won 7 Nationals in the kiddie class last summer. The build up for this can't be bigger than James versus RC can it?
