8/15/2026 11:58am I was able to go out there with Gene Ritchie who set up the hunt. Bob was out hunting with us a few of the days but he had to fly to CA for some Honda business but he was a great host. We stayed at his house most of the time but als camped in the mountains a night or two. We all called in some bulls but couldn't get any into bow range.

8/15/2026 11:56am That picture just reminds me how much fun that era of bikes were to ride; fast, totally unforgiving, multiple mistakes every lap, and loving every minute of it.

8/14/2026 10:15pm Southwick '87, Hannah's last National moto win (and only one on a Suzuki). I stumbled on pretty good footage of this race on youtube not too long ago (might have been a Motoworld clip) Bob had an interesting year really in '87. He won that Southwick moto and was 2nd OA to RJ. About a month later he rode the 250 GP of France and won the 2nd moto again and was 2nd OA to Eric Geboers. Another month and he wins the 2nd 125 moto at the Des Nations.

8/14/2026 2:32pm I hate it for the people that lost their jobs that worked there. I know a lot of times they are given the opportunity to relocate, but if you have family there it's hard to leave and move away from them.

8/8/2026 2:20pm Just turned 70 and not at all down hill. Have 4 bikes and get to the track a couple of times a year on my 2stroke. Retirement is awesome. There is a lot to look forward to for motocrossers in their youth - my first race was at 16 as soon as I could drive myself to the track. Change your poll to "70 Plus - can't wait to ride this week".

8/3/2026 5:10pm MX sports has done a lot to grow both PRo and Am MX in the US since they have been running it. Yah You could argue that they are just incharge at the right time. But There are many race series that have died off over the past 20 years too. So MX sports and the Coombs do deserve credit for helping grow the sport and bring in more exposure. The added airtime of showing the qualifiers will give the racers that are on the bubble of making it a little bit more of a chance of being on the...

8/1/2026 1:16pm Everything comes to an end at some point. EVERYTHING. Including DC's stranglehold on this sport (at some point). And let's be honest - they're going to lose their ass on this deal: Have no clue what production costs are, but how many people are going to spend $40 to watch amateur kids race? That's right = grandma. That's pretty much about it.

8/1/2026 1:16pm Its honestly sad to watch these 70 year old men destroy something right in front of our eyes because they have no foresight into viewership metrics and organic marketing. They are so focused on greasing every fucking penny out of this sport and squeezing every dime in any way they can get it they completely have lost the big picture. When Lorettas was free to watch on youtube, it was probably the MOST accessible mainstream coverage we will get. Its FREE, it would show up on anybody that's adjacently into motorsports feed and potentially pull in new and YOUNG viewers...

8/1/2026 1:08pm That post deserves it's own thread in the Hall of Fame. Roczen and his team pulled a rabbit out of the hat and it's a blessing for every Suzuki fan around the world. The Japanese recognize what Roczen pulled off on a somewhat outdated platform and I have no doubt that these guys are gonna reward every Suzuki fan around the world with upgraded models. We need Suzuki In MX and SX. Kenny and his team just made that happen.

8/1/2026 1:06pm How cool would it be if he had a lot of input in the next bike. He seems to ride very neutral on the bike. They don’t need to reinvent the wheel. Just massage what they have.
