For as much as you guys act like you love this sport and idolize the heroes that exist in it I am sickened by how much you are un-appreciative of what they do and sacrifice.

Unfortunately 99.7% of America's reality TV hypnotized zombies don't even know that another world exists outside of this pussified bio-dome. India rules. The same people who complain about this non-sense are the ones who try to sue the mini-van auto makers for making the drivers door too small because they can't get in due to their obesity.

Extremely heavy motorcycle wheels make this extremely difficult with the gyro effect. Once the bike gets 270 it almost always loses its rotation and falls over. I've seen a lot attempted and they all generally have the same effect. Can't say its impossible because there are already enough ridiculous things happening. I think this is why some people are able...

What if his "contract" was for a 250f ride and didn't play into the fact that he was bumped up to 450...... a similar situation to Dean Wilson and the manufacturer switch involving Milsaps? Stranger things have happened.....

No Outsider. You are wrong. These guys are "professional" racers. They don't deserve anything. They should all quit and go get real jobs if they can't live up to our expectations of them. 98% of the "fans" on here have some pretty ridiculous expectations from these guys. Hope you can see the sarcasm in the first part. Good post.

chrisbuehler, this wasn't directed toward you, just addressing this line of your post, "Villo is/was riding at his absolute peak and is missing the race for some corny one-off SX race. "

I am sure Villopoto choosing to take care of this old injury immediately after the nationals has absolutely nothing do do with the fact that waiting until after the MXDN would leave him with a month less recovery and prep time for SX, which I am sure isn't nearly as important to him as MXDN. (sarcasm) Villo missing des Nations...

No. Roczen. And it's kinda ironic. I heard the same thing yesterday...... There just might be a little truth to this somewhere down the line.

Does anyone here have a background in economics? Anyone that does and has a decent understanding of the motocross industry can point out the problem. hvaughn88 pretty much said it. It all boils down to supply and demand. And in the motorcycle industry those things don't favor rider or company alike. This industry doesn't have any money and Bass Pro...
hahahaha. That's kinda funny. As a track-riding motocross enthusiast Glen Helen tops my list of "WILL NOT RIDE EVER FOR ANY REASON" right next to Lake Elsinore. And Elsinore was 5 minutes from my old house. I enjoyed watching nationals at Glen Helen (on TV). And I enjoyed Elsinore (on TV), as I didn't really feel like going out and...

They are just the stock wheels. Rims powder coated black and blue anodized nipples. The hubs were supposed to be turned down but they came back from the builder in stock form. Don't really have any other photos. Since it got the new suspension she's only been ridden about 3 times and right now it's down to the frame and the motor is sitting on my bench torn apart awaiting a decision to just rebuild, or send out for a full on big-bore. It has taken a year and a half to even tear into it so who knows how...

I am sad my last reply disappeared....anyways: kongols: you rule. DocMarten: love you. gnarwhip: are we neighbors? OC, cheers. peelout for president.

Yes. And, in response to DocMarten, I honestly don't think this is some crazy "staged" marketing ploy to get attention. The kid is smart, and definitely doesn't mind the attention but at the end of the day (in my opinion) the kid wants to race (or wouldn't mind, if the opportunity really arose) but doesn't really have the backing to...

if you know, than you know. if you don't you will soon enough. he might not go the fastest around the track but he definitely is more fun to watch than the people in front of him. love watching that kid ride.
One person got onto this subject a bit in this thread but I find it all too ironic that the top 3 dudes from this weekend have direct ties to Aldon. Dungey trained with RC and Aldon and is disciplined enough to put in the work himself. James had Aldon and figured he learned enough to not need to pay...
