Not to go too far off topic, but outside of Los Angeles and San Francisco Metro areas, most of California is conservative or centrist. 33 military bases are located In California, including the DEVGRU/Seal Training base in San Diego, and thousands of servicemen and Officers live and retire here, more than any other place in the United States. I am in no way qualified to even remotely understand the torment this young man’s parents are going through, however I believe all who are parents on this forum cannot imagine a worse outcome on what should have been a fun day.
