exactly the analogy I made in the original post. A stupid accident hurt his wrist and he was never the same. I will forever shake my fist at the moto gods should this happen. We will all be robbed of what could be a career that unseats the GOAT.

I understand that the decision to race at this level involves a host of considerations—the rider is competing at the highest global level, not to mention the financial aspect. However, I think they are making a serious mistake by not focusing solely on a full recovery. Whether it’s a wrist injury or, in this case, a foot injury, it can...

I shattered my navicular riding 15+ years ago, took a year to walk normal and still to this day I cannot run long distances, play any sport like tennis or basketball without immense pain the next few days. Cannot squat properly due to the limited ankle mobility. This is a serious injury and I give him credit for even lining up for outdoors. I was told fusion was the only fix but that would mean even less mobility in my foot/ankle so I've never done it but its pretty much immediate arthritis due to how those bones rub on each...

100% agree... If you've ever ridden a motocross bike and taken a hard hit like that, you feel bad for him. Maybe a little concussion, maybe sore wrists, or something worse. That's OK to stop..

I’m guessing after the adrenaline wore off a bit he started feeling the impact of that sudden stop. I don’t care how fit you are, the body isn’t absorbing that. Hell my back hurts this morning just thinking about it.

Does anyone else feel like theyre using too much split screen? It makes it so instead of really focusing on one battle going on youre trying to watch two things at once on two tiny screens and its not as easy to see. They also make the boxes too small with a bunch of unused screen space around them. If they have to use split screen why not make both take up the whole screen and then overlay the rider position box over that on the side like they do on single screen? They should save the split screen only...

How is he a quitter? What if that bike was genuinely not setup to ride safe for him? What if the team was genuinely not providing for him what he needed? If this was the case, who would be the expert authority to say so? That would be Jorge Prado. Who would have the authority to counter these claims? That would be the team structure that NEVER commented. You old heads get an idea in your mind and refuse to ever change and it’s embarrassing. Dude went from being beaten by privateers to winning his heat and podiuming and the...

Last week I saw the new 450 prototype. They were there for testing the engine, BUT…The plastics are all different. The front part of the seat is completely different on the sides stretches over the conveyors. The exhaust will be bigger because the side plate had more space in the down side (even if this one had the Akrapovich) for Decibel and homologation reasons. I was impressed because I thought they didn't change anything and instead it was a new bike. The test rider was positively impressed with the chassis for tight corners and the engine for delivery. Absorber linkage...

I would much rather be out riding my bike or tinkering in the garage than posting about US government policy on a dirt bike forum, but this topic is so incredibly huge and I still see a few Vital members who think that the end result is maybe they may have to pay a few hundred dollars more for their next new dirt bike or that a little pain now will be well worth the future outcome. Nothing could be further from the truth. The pain is going to get much bigger real fast and effect a lot of people’s...

How long do you think it takes to build up that manufacturing capacity to replace even 20% of what we lost?

There are no winners in (trade)war. Counter tariffs will make US produced aftermarket parts like Luxon, ProCircuit, FMF, Wiseco etc. too expensive to buy for us Europeans too. The tariffs aren't beneficial to anyone in my opinion

Well said. I'm a happy 2022 owner with Ohlins suspensions... but the KYB YZF forks is way better. I tried the 2023 SXF 350 and it's a no go for me (can't gel with the geometry). Pretty curious about a new try with 2025 version but I will jump over another year and put hours on my actual ride.

22”s are great bikes, if you want more low end go to a 52 rear, like what 23-24 did….tons of parts availability… I think a little easier to find the sweet spot for handling on the 22 compared to the 23 & up. I have a 24 and its a great bike but I would not hesitate 1 minute to pick up a low hr 22….

I have a '22 Husky, same engine and honestly I run mine in the mellow map most of the time because I think the aggressive map is pretty barky and makes it easy to upset the bike coming out of corners (I mostly ride hardpack). Based on everything I've read, I would want the '25 with the frame cutout if I was going newer. Bike has been great, I just went through a bout of new-bike-itis when the '25s came out and but after I thought about it, there really wasn't anything I would try to improve other than the...

I totally disagree. That is zero percent Jo’s fault and 100% the mechanics’s fault. That is part of the track. The rider has every right to be there. Regardless of whether is was totally unintentional or not….a mechanic fucked up the championship run of another team’s rider. With all of the work, money, and effort that go into trying to win a championship…..this was really unfortunate. Jo has never been in as good of a position for a championship run.

You can make fun of the Suzuki's all you want but they are still a fantastic bike and look better then most of the others. Im a big guy and race B class and have no problem beating people on every other brand as well as pulling holeshots on this "outdated heavy bike". I really dont understand the obsession around here with trashing them especially by people who dont ride them or never have.

1st thing~ Get her a bike with an electric start A newer 250f with a Rekluse and maybe lower the suspension a bit, would be what she would like. Just my opinion
