I got into Vintage racing because 20 years ago it was an affordable way to get a fix. A non-running complete vintage bike would run you around $1 per cc. Cost $10 to get into the track. $25 entry fee for the first class, $20 for the second, ride as many others as you want/can for free. Gates opened at 8 AM, Practice at 9, Races usually from 10-3 PM. Just wanted to share a cool story about AP this weekend. My 7 year old son is a huge Plessinger fan and was bummed when I didn’t take him to the races this weekend due to 105 degree heat. I was walking the pits and noticed AP was signing autographs so I thought I’d get in line and see if I could get something signed for my son. All I care about is the motocross stuff. Currently on vacation with my wife for a week. On a beach, drinking a cold beer, no worries in the world. Life is great right? But after a couple days of this, I just can’t help but think about how I can’t wait to get back to my dirtbike. Watch some racing. Work on my dirtbike. 5/19/2025 7:03am I should have added a fuel pump has to be involved for an injector to work. Just seems a lot of power would be needed to energize a fuel pump and an injector. Obviously they have a stator system that does this with a kicking of the engine?

5/19/2025 6:38am Don't see Suzuki riders kicking and kicking like several years back. A few questions for people in the know; Suzuki has fuel injection but no battery how does that work? If the stator supplies power to the injector while kicking, what if the kicker doesn't kick hard enough - does it flood the engine? I have never owned a bike...

Back when the rumors of chase to kawi started in my head I kinda just assumed that meant hed be on the new bike for outdoors since it was so early into the year. Now it was reported that the deal should wrap up soon after salt lake so that means hes going to have to ride the entire outdoors in a lame duck period if he signs to kawi? That would be awkward. Just be be sure we're talking about the same guy: This is the same Chase Sexton that has a 450 supercross title in 2023, 250 supercross titles in 2019 and 2020, a 450 motocross title in 2024? Yeah, seems pretty hopeless for this guy to ever figure it out.
