zehn Liked a reply to forum topic The pass, Sexton and Webb

Yeah it was pretty obvious. Sexton also looked back to see if Webb was going to cut down and clean him out. It was funny how cautious they both were about the situation. I think it was a good show of respect on both of their parts

Chase Sexton is a class act so glad he made it through the meat grinder it's a bummer SX took out 2 more the last race. Davies and Smith hope they heal up. Bring on the Outdoors! How many got hurt in SX this year? Way too many, when they went over the injury list I was cringing and turned...
Sexton has that KTM dialed, I mean he has never looked better on that bike nor looked better in general. I'm struggling to understand why he wants to move again, outside of him perhaps worried about KTM and the financial situation. He is my bet to win the outdoor title.

He has been my idol for the last 50 of those 60 years. I hate it when I hear people bag on him. Nobody loves MX more than that man.

If you have ever wondered who is the person they call "The Man", take a look at this five minute video of Roger DeCoster. He really shows at the end what this sport means to him. Sixty plus years in the sport at the highest level and still giving his all.

Rickyisms Liked a reply to forum topic Open ended question, how long on 450 engine?

5/7/2025 1:12pm
If it starts and runs fine, I wouldn’t open it up for another 50 hours at least, even then if the crank has no up/down play I would just do a piston and timing chain. These modern KTM engines can go for a long time when cared for properly. Look up Monk on here or TT, he is/was a local AA off-road guy that documented the hours and maintenance on his 2016 KTM 350. I think he was around 600 hours on an unopened engine before he retired it to his wife, and she put a fair amount of time...

Last weekend at the MXGP you could barely hear the bikes of Coenen, Herlings and Pancar. Compared to the other riders. It's quite refreshing to be honest.

How big a difference? Like the difference between a regular sized twinkie, and a twinkie that is 35 feet long and weighs approximately 600 pounds?

yesterday this kid shows up on a Yam 250F that thing was so loud it was embarrassing! We don't want attention drawn to where we ride and it starts with these overly loud bikes - so I get it

Not penalty worthy at all but that might be the worst reception a champion has received upon winning their championship. Insane!

what I found with the glide kit - SKF is the SKF seals are different and just higher quality, and in 2 different bikes 2023 both needed less air pressure which helps putting the forks in the sweet spot. And after stating earlier using the motor oil in the outer chambers I have yet to replace a fork seal. Update...
