Give the kid some Props, a few months back, he was racing Futures. Well done is SX, MX, and now SMX....especially his 2nd moto results after the tough first moto last night The kid is for real, and is fun to watch. I like Jo Shimoda, but sorry to say, 4-4 was a choke, especially for that kind of money (500k.)

Seems like a level headed kid who takes criticism well and wants to be better every day. Roger has done well with those types in the past. I think being with a team that puts all of its heart behind your success is a boon, too. I think he does better. Championship? Hard to say, but he’ll keep the Honda guys honest.

I'll keep it short. This older man parked next to me, thinking his son was there to ride, was actually the one gearing up. I asked the man that was with his age and he is 74! And apparently won his class at World Vets race in Cali 4 years ago. That's so badass. It was really inspirational for me. Thats because he didnt. His reasoning was that he thought letting ken win would put more points between him and chase. He thought wrong and that wasnt the case but thats what he thought was gonna happen. Then in his mind he thought that if helping himself also gets ken a win after his kid was born even better. If he hadnt thought that ken winning helps him vs chase he doesnt let ken by, so it really has nothing to do with the baby. That was just a further positive he thought would come of the situation. I could be way off and I guess we will never know, but it feels like a massive level of arrogance on Jett's part. There was no reason for him to let him pass and I am now rooting for him to get smoked next week. It was hugely disrespectful to Kenny. There is a fine line between confidence and arrogance and the latter will get him in trouble. I hope Kenny punts him off the track next weekend and then on the podium says "I wanted to return your gift, so here you go".

I didn't find it classy at all and it was disrespectful to Ken. It was like: "I'm so good, I'll give you the victory, you loser."
