Wins are the most important stat! For whatever reason, they want to penalize Eli for racing longer.

Another Tomac thread, but! Even this week on podcasts guys still talk about Stew being 2nd all time in total wins while Tomac passed Stew this year. We have a Jett tracker on this forum and we like to break wins up by SX and MX but Tomac has 57 450 SX wins, 32 450 MX wins and 12 250 MX wins. Which means he has 101. He’s only the second guy to pass 100 total wins and there is not much fan fare behind it. IMO total wins is the most impressive stat as far as wins are concerned...

I have been into this sport since the mid 70's and Tomac has been one of the best to watch. Hannah, Howerton, Magoo, RJ, Baily, Stanton, RV, RC, Stew, etc... Tomac was one of the best and I will miss him. Wish for one more win and also for him to have a great retirement, he has earned it!

Was absolutely epic, with no racing to watch after my moto’s today I just re-watched Daytona. What a fucking badass last win for him, gets a 4th place start and has to work through Webb, Hunter and then Kenny. I was there in person and luckily was 10’ from that berm he made the pass for the lead in. It was a core memory for both me and my son, he hit that berm so hard the fucking earth shook beneath our feet! If there were turning props I was going another route. Nope, not going there. Under the tail of turning -18s was somewhat common, but even better was mastering every location to enter, or leave, the flight deck thus popping up at just the right spot.
