That fuckin dude is an intense actor. Try Gangs of New York. But yeah, There is just enough weirdness in There Will Be Blood for me to really like it. The acting is phenomenal by many of the actors. I think Tarentino lists that movie as one of his fav's.

I have tried all of them over the past 20 years… I am currently weening off venlafaxine and am going to be completely ssri free hopefully by next spring. In my personal experience none of them have been a miracle pill for me. The “best” they have worked was venlafaxine 75mg. I’m on 37.5 now… unfortunately I can’t stand how dependent you are on them, and the Horrible feelings you have even if you miss one morning of taking it. Had my DL for all of 10 days. Did not negotiate an off-camber gravel corner with any degree of skill. Told my dad the Ford was in a ditch. Didn’t tell him the right front fender was now integrated with the right front tire. Girl riding shotgun called me that night, said she thinks she hit the windshield. I asked her why, and she responded “I’m picking glass out of my forehead”.

That was a great documentary. I need to watch it again. Dusty and Frank’s story about being restricted to “one drink” each, then finding the biggest novelty drink they could, was hilarious. ZZ Top was one of the few bands that growing up, both my dad and I liked. Years ago, I surprised him with tickets for us to see them together. They still had Dusty at the time and seeing them with dad was awesome. Saw them one more time with Elwood after Dusty passed. Rest in Peace Frank. Thank you for the music that will live on.
