7/1/2026 7:40pm One of the best things about Vital is RupertX photo threads. I've said it before and will continue to, I love the pics of the guys as they ride off from a moto. The pain or joy in the eyes. Our man Rup captures it. Well done sir

6/18/2026 6:43am We actually plan on doing the Branson SMX round as a family trip. We found a campground about 25 mins away from Big Cedar that was pretty cheap.

5/19/2026 7:56am I remember walking into a local surf shop in North Carolina around 2004 and the guy telling me that as a moto journalist, I should check out this local kid named Cooper Webb. I found him to be an extremely determined, smart and talented nine-year old. It has been absolutely phenomenal watching him capture the dream that every moto rider wants. He deserves every dollar and accolade.

5/19/2026 7:55am He has earned it to be able to pick his team/plans for the future. Never been a fan, but I would never deny his talent. He mentioned turning 30, and if he has the luxury of picking his terms, and it keeps a bad dude on the gate another couple years, God bless him. I think it is awesome that his group of badasses are still banging bars into their 30's at the top level. I wish him the best.

5/19/2026 7:54am This 100%! Definitely bring an umbrella, it will help with shade when you walk around as well as if a pop up thunderstorm happens.

5/19/2026 4:20am Red Bud and Lakewood are my 2 favorites. But Ironman and Washougal are next for me. I’ll be retired in 2028 and my wife and I are going to grab the grandkids when they get out of school and jump in the RV and do every National until I have to put them on a plane to go back and get ready for school.

5/19/2026 4:19am Lol...anyone attending a national with family better know the limits. They are all fantastic for us moto heads but they are also hot, dusty, loud and long. Some folks ain't into that much. My wife and kids only put up with it...not so much enjoyed it. Thunder Valley is amazing but everything is an uphill slog. No step for a stepper but you know your family. Hangtown is viewable and fairly easy to get around...and the fans are groovy. Ironman is about the most family friendly. Lots of shade and plenty of port-o-pots. Maybe a local could speak about other...

5/19/2026 4:19am Hangtown is a great viewing track, lots to do nearby (including Speedway the Friday before in Auburn), but is more likely to run hot now with the date pushed into June. Lakewood also is a good viewing track, enjoyed catching that one. Washougal is terrific, not just setting and vibe, but also it's one of the tracks where the spectator fence is pretty close all the way around. Visibility from any one place can be challenged, but you can move around the entire track throughout the day pretty easily. I love Southwick and had been fortunate to miss the super...

5/19/2026 4:19am I second hangtown. Some of the best viewing of any national and lots of places to stay nearby. Only downside is it can be downright hot and dry depending on the weather that year. Southlake is a little over an hour away, or Folsom lake is like 15 minutes from the track. Plus lots of outdoors things to do up the 50 corridor.

5/19/2026 4:18am Washougal for how unique it feels compared to anything else on the circuit. Fly right into Portland, rental cars are always expensive though... Budds Creek, love being able to fly into DC and check out all the museums, solid viewing, good track. Those are the two I'd recommend based on the list of rounds you've already been to.

5/18/2026 9:54am Budds is great viewing. However, the title can be wrapped up and the temps can range into the Africa-hot. I'm not a big fan of the area around Budds either. For those reasons, I'd say Lakewood.

5/18/2026 9:54am Ease of travel and airports, Lakewood is probably the easiest. But Budds Creek, Hangtown, Southwick and I think Pala are all pretty accessible. I think Millville is the best to spectate, but forget about getting out in a hurry.

5/18/2026 9:54am Lakewood is a great race to travel to and you can make it way more than just the race. Track has great viewing and is only 20-30 minutes outside of Denver so easy flights and plenty of places to stay and eat. Red Rocks amphitheater is very close to the track, catch a Rockies game in downtown Denver, go to Trestle Bike Park and do some downhill riding, endless hiking, breweries, etc.

5/18/2026 9:54am Came to say the same thing. Viewing at both of these tracks is really good and lots of other stuff to do outside of the track. If you haven't been to Red Bud it's a must, but there's not much to do outside of the track. I'd like to go to Millville someday.
