It almost seems by design for the Seattle race to be moved earlier in the season to get a crap weather race. Guaranteed to be cold, and likely to be wet. I know someone above mentioned it rarely rains all day in Seattle, I spent 50 years there and I can assure that is not true. It is the place that is famous for getting no more average precipitation than other places in the country, but DOES always have a steady, miserable, depressing, rain. With the race being in February now, I think the excuse of not using Safeco field...

I took quite some time to do this data. We often talk about who won the most championships and races, because that is what matters the most. But what about "who led the most" ? I analyse all the races since 2004 for MXGP and AMA Pro Motocross, and 2003 for AMA Supercross (some riders like Ricky or Stefan will not have their entire career in it, because I couldn't go back further in time + that doesn't count the lites, only the main category). Ricky Carmichael not only has the most motocross wins of all time, he's also got the most holeshots by a healthy margin! I've scoured through YouTube videos, CycleNews articles, and RacerX articles to compile the holeshot winners of nearly every 450 MX moto since 1974! Are there any surprises with these lists?

He didn't suck, but he hasn't debuted the 450 yet, either. WSX is not a true test. Jett, Hunter, Chase, Eli and Webb might have had something to say about Deegan's "podium" if they had been there.
