You have to take a history; in a car accident you can see things like intrusion into the vehicle, the speed of the road, what did they hit, outward signs of trauma to the patient, also you can just ask the patient what happened. It takes years of experience to identify high forces injuries. I really doubt they were looking anywhere but the front of the pack on the first lap of the race and there was probably damage to Webbs jersey. The point is they never immobilize anyone, they suck

Too many racers in wheelchairs now. Lots of vital guys are going to say "o but they are doctors and nurses and work on EMS"; Then why do they do absolutely nothing for Webb? They should have told Webb don't move at all and then they immobilize him with a scoop stretcher and move him to the x-ray for a better evaluation before anything. That was a direct hit to the spine and you can see alpinestars directing him to walk off the track then he is just sitting up on the mule. Anyone can help a rider to the...

If they are so credible then what did they do Webb or Brian Moreau? Touch him with their magic healing hands? Maybe I missed something? I know basic EMT medics that know how to identify a hard hit, tell someone don't move, place them on a scoop stretcher and lift it to the mule and drive carefully off the track to the x-ray? Probably cut their clothes off, get some imaging, perform a neuro exam and physical exam? How hard is that?
