I agree. What is the reason factories prefer a junior team in emx250 over a team in mx2? Would Bonacorsi been worse off had he raced mx2 with Hutten this year?

Looks to me he only wants to go to GPs if he can get a very good setup/deal. Getting deals in MX2 like Tondel (3rd emx last year) or McLellan (4th last year) isnt going to help a lot imo. Then you are better of doing what Bonacorsi, Elzinga, Horgmo etc. did and stay in emx250 for another year.

Joel Rizzi posted that he will ride the coup the avenir for Revo Kawasaki. So he a candidate for Revo in GPs? It looks like Rizzi has been all over the place this years in terms of bikes. Yamaha, Gasgas, now Kawasaki. He posted something that the gasgas bike was on last legs. I think he has the talent to...

I see Cas Valk listed as possibly VRT KTM, but didnt he sign a multi year contract with Fantic? Also not sure if BT will be back.

Prugnieres seems like a good get. I can understand if they let Braceras go, he is still young but tbh i didnt see much improvement during the season and he isnt riding in a position that F&H is looking for. Imo there are others in EMX250 who would be an improvement. Karssemakers seems like a nice fit

[quote]by Brent I was just at their shop in NL, they know what's expected of them and are busting ass to get things right. The owner is investing big in the team and the facility, there are really stepping thing up. Star Racing will have a lot to do with how the bikes perform - Hutten is starting testing the...

I am not sure i understand what Yamaha is doing. * They weaken their teams in EMX250 and MX2 (Hutten is not an improvement over kemea, and whoever is going to do emx250 isnt an improvement over Hutten) * I don't think Kemea is an improvement over Wilvo in MXGP * They lose Seewer & Coldenhoff and replace them with...

It says a lot about the depth in MX2 in terms of financial strength of the teams that a guy who finishes 7th & 8th both in the sand of Lommel & Kegums as on the hard terrain in Germany & Sweden cannot get a good ride. And unless Hutten/Yamaha, Bud, Fantic, BT, VRT, etc step up with their EMX250...

It is about Mathias Jorgenson, he has a long post on his facebook about it. I don't speak danish so it is a bit of a guess, but it involves the championship in mx2 that Magnus Smith lost on 1 point to Jorgensons teammate. The final race was a mix between mx1 and mx2 and jorgenson got a pitboard signal...

The 250 i mean. Most you mention are 450 riders and Smith is supported by Yamaha Scandinavia. Only one i don't know why he rides Yamaha is Mandys Even in the national championships you will have a hard time finding a yamaha 250F in the top 10.

Not sure how to read your post: Are you saying Rizzi to Riley or do you mean it as 2 seperate things (Rizzi signing a deal in the UK & independent from that Riley is working on a comeback)? I don't know what Frederiksen is going to do, he is back riding and did an onk last weekend. Kind of...

It is a shame Martens cannot keep him. Would be nice to see JM have a rider that can podium. But Haarup and McLellan is a pretty good lineup for Triumph.

Don't get me wrong, i understand the massive costs for the organizer & i also see the value for 2 days of great classes. For that reason i was happy to pay the money and be there. But for a casual fan (who will not want to go 2 days) it's a big price. For that reason i don't think...

I actually understand the cost for the stands. They have to rent it so it costs them extra, and since probably only 10-20% of the audience could get a spot you want to regulate it a bit so that it doesnt lead to overcrowded stands. Having to pay 10 euro per day was a bit to much though.

I was lucky enough to be invited inside the HRC fishbowl last year for a 2 minute tour. (no Shoes allowed) Very nice, but to me it's not what Moto is about -it feels like the waiting room of an upscale dentists office inside. Motocross is a sport for the people to hang over the rail at the open awning and geek out over the factory bikes up close, not thru a tinted window with graphics. You can't even take photos of the bikes from the outside because of the window tint - This sport is not, and should not...
