Have seen couple Italian police riders, do they have to work as police or they get paid riding and after riding go back to police work or how that works? Cant see MXGP rider working normal work week between races.
I'm not sure but I suppose that they have a sport contract, that makes them free from work but that they need to do some PR-work for the police? Bit like the French Military has a semi-professional cycling team.

Honestly looking at czech riders. Well Vítězslav Marek, if he leaves his dad's Cermen KTM racing i don't see any reason for the team to continue racing full EMX125 calendar tbh... but MJC Yamaha would be an upgrade for sure. Hopefully Mikula can finish season healthy and land solid EMX250 ride.
Forato will ride for Standing Construct Honda, Vlaanderen for Kemea Yamaha, Guillod for SR Honda. And Guyon wont be anymore with Fantic.
Rizzi apparently signed a deal with a British team and I hear strong rumours Riley Racing works on a comeback. Anyone have an idea if we will see Frederiksen back? He lined up in a local race in The Netherlands last weekend.

I don't know what Frederiksen is going to do, he is back riding and did an onk last weekend. Kind of surprised to see him on a Yamaha, i imagine that has to be either via Riley or a remainder of the deal he had with Riley (maybe yam scandinavia was involved?). Because there are no privateers in gp's/emx who pick a Yamaha as their bike.
Would be cool to see, especially if he makes weekly vlogs of life on the road. A bit like, I think it was Matthias Jorgensen, in 2020. That was a cool story to follow.
Ofcourse there are. Jørgensen, Alberto, Outeiro, Conijn, Mandys, Smith,.. all raced a private Yamaha this season.
