Looking back on our 50 career years ago, If I were to do it all over again, I'd buy a nice, clean, used KX 65 and bypass the whole 50 scene altogether. And I promise I am not the only Dad that has said this...... You can lower the 65, tame it down, I have even heard of Dads putting a Rekluse on them. Fast 50's are expensive, and constantly need attention...... We always had 2 of whatever 50's we had, because you constantly needed a spare part to keep one always healthy.

Baja already has the "Baja Brawl" which is a pretty big amatuer national. I don't think the facility is big enough to support the numbers that would show up for a national. Looking at google earth, Baja Acres property is 1/4 the size of Red Bud.

In my opinion, the only thing a lapper should be expected to do for a blue flag is hold a predictable line. Not stop, move over, slow down, etc

He raced Loretta's in the b class while holding a pro license and was signed up for Unadilla before he went to Loretta's he should be disqualified from his results at Loretta's pretty simple really🤷‍♂️

Be realistic about your kid's potential and apply your resources accordingly. No amount of money can replace talent and desire (your kid's desire, not yours).

You don't need "3 new bikes a year ,training and motor home" to be completive. You need speed and talent and desire at that level.
