Ridiculously preemptive with planning a 2025 mxdn trip here but does anyone know of any tracks close by or on the way (coming from the west)?

You aren't alone planning ahead lol. I had my GF check out what plane tickets would cost. Pretty sure we're just going to drive though

I’d imagine it’s gonna be absolutely packed. We’re coming from Pa. Not missing it!  Was thinking about turning it into a riding trip as well

It depends on what you mean by near.

2 GREAT Tracks within like 3 hours. Also 10 mins from one another lol. Makes for a great double header weekend.

Leisure time Mx - medaryville indiana

FMX paradise - medaryville indiana

How do you think the Ironman facilities will be for handling the MXdN? I've been to a National there but this is a different animal.

Never been there but 100% expecting a zoo. I’m gonna need to start doing some kind of yoga type calming exercises or go on some kind of medication I think 😂

Plenty of parking I think unless it rains. Check out some videos of the GNCC they have every year in October.

the GNCC will probably still blow the MXON attendance out of the water. I think there was maybe 40-50 thousand people there last year? i could be wrong on the exact numbers.

Wildcatcreek MX is the closest full AMA sanctioned track to Ironman national track.
It is 40 minutes away from Crawfordsville in Rossville Indiana.

You cant just pick any day and ride that place. They only have their open practices about 5 or 6 weekends out of the year. Their only days to ride it for the rest of this year are November 2nd and 3rd

You have Badlands offroad park that is open any day year round in attica if you just want to trail ride. However if you are coming in a few weeks before we have like 5 XC series in the state that race bikes on saturdays and sundays. IXCR, MWXC, Extreme XC, and Crossroads. Go to IXCR if you want a race like a GNCC type turnout. Go to the others for a more smaller turnout.
