I have nothing but a truck and a 6x12 open trailer anymore. Used to have a 16x8 box trailer set up pretty nice and then found a nice garage coach back in 2009 when the motorhome market shit the bed and pissed all over the pillows. Bought it cheap. Kept it insured for what I paid for it and when it got flood damage 9 years later I got all my money back that I paid for it. I came out really good on that deal, but will probably never be able to replace it as they are stupid expensive...

Either back of my truck or friends 12' trailer. Few chairs, small pop up canopy if we have the trailer. I pack all my gear in plastic tote, sprays and oils in another small plastic tote, and bench top tool box. One day I'll have my own trailer and step up my at the track game. Working on shop so that's my money now.

I figured we could use some positivity around here so I decided to do my small part in keeping the motorcycle industry going. Picked up a 2020 Husqvarna TX300i today from one of our own forum members’ shops, Donnell’s Motorcycles. It’s going to have a pretty good transformation over the next week or so, I’ll update as parts get put on. I’ve never had a new dirt bike so I’m pretty damn pumped!

My grandmother was feeling the same way as Malcolm Smith. She was 103. We were cleaning out her basement. I said to her. That we all loved her. We love hearing her stories. She lived to 106. Had 6 children, 2 have passed, 20 grandkids, 3 have passed. 35 great grandkids, 4 great great grandkids. That she met them all. I don't remember her as frail. She survived the depression. All of us super fans of Malcom, are just like grandkids. We love the stories and the history. He is an icon, respected by all. By who is is. It...

Sorry to push our own vid, never posted one of our vids on Vital before but felt this is a video worthy of posting on this forum: It's a vid of Jan Spliethof, who will be racing the Dutch Masters in the 500 class on a Honda CR 500 2 stroke. So that is in the class with all the GP riders like Herlings, Coldenhoff, Paulin etc. All assuming Corona isnt ending the season early obviously...

Not sure attendance at arlington is the best indicator of the health of our sport, just like Big fan turnout at a monster truck show doesnt mean car dealers are rolling in money. Sorry but motocross is absolutely nothing close to what it was in the late 90's/early 00's. I was running north carolina Saturday night races in the late 90's and had a competing track less than 30 miles away and we would often both have over 300 entries when we ran on the same weekend. Had close to 500 entries at some events up until 2005, and had...

That Arlington crowd was the biggest of any TX Supercross I recall attending, maybe ever going back a long ways. I'd estimate 60k, the place holds 70k and it was close to full. When they did the National Anthem with the lights out you could really see all the cell phone lights in the upper sections. The place was electric with the fans obviously tuned into the action. Some of the best entertainment anywhere regardless of sport. The SX Futures was a huge turnout, the announcer asked Ricky if he thought maybe they should hold 2 Arlington races a year...

I am the Parts Manager at a Ford/Lincoln dealer, that sells over $14,000,000.00 per year in parts. Here is the truth about parts and parts sales. Number 1, you have to have sales history to be able to stock the correct inventory. If nobody is buying it you shouldn’t be stocking it. that being said you must log any lost sales to build adequate history. If someone asks for a part and you don’t stock it, you log a lost sale. That starts the process. You get enough hits, the part gets stocked. 2. Holding inventory is very expensive, we...

Having lived in Ca for 61 years now I have to admit sometimes I wish I'd wake up, turn on the news and find out that most of the politicians from this state have gone missing and the capitol building was bulldozed down overnight. Haha just kidding !! or not

Pretty obvious which I lean towards but regardless, I would highly suggest a "new generation tech" helmet. The more recent studies showing the benefits of softer shells for low speed impact can't be overstated. That's where most of the improvements have been made by everyone. There are a several quality products out there which is a great thing for consumer safety. The FLY Formula is my favorite (biased yes), given the past few years of helmet education I have lived through. I still think the weight advantage of the Formula is what sets it apart more than anything else. Helmet...

I'd say the peak was 1975, the year after Honda introduced the Elsinore(s). At the local races I went to in Mid-Michigan, it was not uncommon for the 125 class to have two 40-rider gates, and the 250 class was almost as popular. Not only that, but the riders raced Hondas, Yamahas. Kawasakis, Suzukis, Maicos, Bultacos, Can-Ams, AJSs, Hodakas, Monarchs, Pentons, Czs, Husqvarnas, Greeves', Rickman-Mattises, Montessas, Carabellas, and several other brands I'm sure I'm forgetting. Gentleman, it was an amazingly vibrant time in our sport. I only wish ALL of you could have witnessed it.

Ok, first things first, yes as everyone knows I bled a little red (although rode a KTM in 2015 and Kawasaki in 2016/2017) and yes I have a new CRF450WE in the garage. Yesterday I was handed a near new YZ450F by one of my mates who has just buggered his knee, so I took it out for the day, set it up and had a few motos on it. It impressed the hell out of me, damn good bike, I could definitely race the thing and win on it. According to my wife, who was timing me, I was...

I think the title is appropriate, but if I did it wrong, I apologize. Anyways, recently sold my YZ250F and just picked up a YZ125 today. Nothing special but I am excited. Been a while since I had a 2-stroke. Loved all of my YZ125s, in the past. I know it is not the newest 125 out there, but I just love the 05+ YZ125s and decided to stick with blue. Also still have an FC350 that I love, so it's a pretty good Vet Int line-up. Only plans are some numbers, an FMF Factory Fatty w/ 2.1 Silencer. That's...
