Well at least near me, Ducati dealers are a little more personal and technical than your typical dealership. Personally I don’t want any of those techs in the back touching my bike let alone trusting their “PDI” process. Now my local Ducati dealer, I’d have no problem with them setting spring rates, sag, etc.

One thing that i have learned the last year is that take everything that KTM say with a pinch of salt. Sure, production in Austria will remain. But nobody knows for how long and in which capacity.

The Stark buying process seems absolutely top notch, as usual. You just need to throw a boatload of cash in the wind, open a thread on Vital after months of waiting for nothing, be lucky enough to get help from a connected good samaritan who won't unlock the bike you paid for, but provide you with "solutions" -such as keep on waiting or get a refund someday, I guess... The "Future" is here, I guess. Not the bike, though.

Even if by some miracle KTM survives financially they are obviously unscrupulous in their business practices. They have screwed over employees and suppliers, why would a rider assume he might not be too. Acosta is searching for a Ducati, I assume Chase feels the same as him. As far as the, "well he would have a contract" narrative, I imagine most of their suppliers KTM screwed over to the tune of 30% on the dollar had contracts too. They are an untrustworthy business.

The last 2 GP's, Romain scored a total of 95 points, while Lucas scored 111. Lucas reduced the gap from 59 to 43 points, 16 points difference. At this rate, if he continue to win and Romain is consistent like he was the last 2 GP's, it will take 6 rounds for Lucas to close the gap. That's only IF they both stay off the ground.

He hasn't been that inconsistent though compared to his competition if you ignore Gajser. First round he left 29 points down on Febvre but he was basically riding with two half broken hands. If you ignore that round he's like 15 points down. Despite a DNF in Sardinia.

I think we're in for a dogfight between Febvre and Coenen in the weeks to come. Febvre has the experience, he's seen and done it all before, and Coenen is the young gun, going on the momentum he has now and the hunger to prove his criticasters wrong. If they are both up front at the start, they will simply finish first and second at this point. They're way better as the rest at the moment. So I see no one who can "take away" points if one wins and the other finishes third or fourth. Renaux and Herlings should...
