Why wouldn’t they? 2 events for 1.3x the work or give up revenue and a major advantage for US riders? Seems like a no brainer. My guess is they are releasing the schedule like this for marketing reasons. That or a promoter isn’t happy and they don’t want another Glen Helen moment on their hands.

How nice would it be to rotate about 3 locations a year. The outdoors needs some new locations every once in awhile.

Barcia has been pro and pretty much a factory rider since 2009. Next year will be 16 years. I doubt his future is “ grim”.

Weird that it’s gone, glad to have watched it yesterday. I tend to watch a lot of the post race interviews and Chase is always as honest as can be. It’s nice to have someone not respond like a robot!

Judging by social media comment sections and this board, a lot of people, saying he can't win if Eli and Jett are on the line. After a heart breaking loss last year when he threw away a win in SX, how he immediately went out to walk the track/look at the section he crashed in, and was analyzing what he did wrong rather than throwing a fit and hiding said a lot to me.

How people can dislike Chase is beyond me

Considering people here always talk about riders these days acting like robots and having no personality anymore, I think Chase shows exactly that riders can be the opposite while keeping it real, being humble, honest, informative and not having to act like a dick to show personality. Just my 2 cents.

Unless: What if they all get the start, top 4 to the front and the battle ensues..... 20 minutes of bar-to-bar racing, lead changes, block passes, small mistakes, each rider a little faster in different sections. What if we get our moneys worth, the absolute best race of the year, each rider bringing their A-game, nobody goes down, no excuses. Who ever wins, wins, no need to explain, just "today _____ was faster" See ya in January!

The pressure might get to Hunter next weekend and considering how last years SMX final went, my money is on Jett probably. Anything could happen though, I like how the points turn out.. I kinda want Hunter to win though. Jett as the SX champ, Chase as the MX champ and Hunter getting the SMX championship (yeah 3 rounds I know) would be a nice ending to this season and specially to his 450 rookie season.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the 250 (125) class definitely started as a development class and is still supposed to be one. The problem is the incentive structure is all wrong. You have riders getting six figures to hang out forever in the 250 class who wouldn't get on top level teams in the 450 class. It they move they know they'll barely see the top 10 again and will be on much reduced salaries. See McElrath, Nichols etc. It's this level of rider - and I'd put Hampshire in there - who have little incentive, unless they point...

Yaa it’s crazy, Shane should be in top 10 fighting with Mookoe and Craig and the 2nd tier of top guys imo. His results since moving up to the 450 blows my mind when you look at his 250 career.
