Not sure what industry you’re in, but have you approached your employer about some form of light duty assignment? It’s possible it might not pay the same as your normal role, but most workplaces have administrative tasks that pile up because everyone is too busy to get to them day in and day out. You might offer to pick up that stuff and if approved, your doc might be inclined to sign you off for that work which would buy you more time, keep accruing PTO, etc.

You can thank the sandbaggers for that. I understand what the AMA is trying to do even if it didn't work out. I appreciate them trying though, it's annoying racing against guys clocking lap times near the A class and scrubbing everything when I race C class

No joke, funny you assume. So three days riding in a week you are cool with spending well over $200. I’m into a 3- 4 month visit. Yes $50 is too much. Looking for suggestions on tracks to visit. Thanks

Probably the most rare pic of David Bailey, because he is out of shape. That's me behind him of the first moto at the '83 Lake Whitney 250 National. I sent it to him a few years ago and in true David Bailey form, he remembered the moto vividly. Said he was leading and slid out in the opening laps. People call them a 3 stroke and for good reason. No the power is not like a yz250. It’s smooth, luggable power with a linear delivery. Really rideable. Really friendly and also very powerful. Best bike I’ve ever ridden or owned but I’m a 2 stroke guy and have not owned a modern 4 stroke for almost 20 years. The chassis is virtually the same as the 4 stroke line up and nearly all chassis parts are interchangeable so yes they feel the same

66 here. Race Moto approx 15-20 weekends per year. Several years back was thinking about quitting, hucking those 70-90’ booters to be competitive was definitely not in my plans. But then I got introduced to Vintage MX and was the best thing I’ve ever done. Super fun and very competitive ,but a little bit safer for old bodies , but still get to line up against guys like Trampas Parker, Trey Jorski, Tom Benolkin ,Joe Gretchen , Denny Schwartz and a bunch of other fast dudes and Legends from my era .
