Yes, there are too many in the 450 class that are just riding around. I believe the very top 250,s would get the ride the deserve, factory. However the "other" 250 riders currently get paid too much, so there is no incentive to move up to a 450 ride that pays less than they currently make. Smx next class 250 class, age out at 23 450 the premier class

Yea thats why I think its time for shimoda and kitchen to move up. I get wanting to win a title first on the 250, but in reality nobody cares about lites class titles. When ppl talk about kevin windham they call him the best ever to not win a title… he has two 125 regional sx championships. Shimoda especially really gels with the 450 and would be a threat for a win pretty quick imo, hes still one of the few ppl to have beaten jett and deegan both straight up. If he cant get it done this next...

I felt the same way as the OP. There is no where to go for some younger talent as long as guys are staying into their 30s. And has has been stated, there is no real training or building class, it's all OJT when the few get to the 450 class. Let's face it, many of the 30 year olds are not title or hardly even win contenders. By moving more 250 guys up faster they couldn't do any worse but at least they could be learning.

I dunno. Seems like a grand opportunity to showcase your series internationally. It's not the pinnacle and never will be compared to SX and MX... but it could be special. Riders may even like to go somewhere new. Sorry about the B and C riders... But. The playoffs is probably not the place to showcase second tier talent... but thats just me.

I watched the video several times and was able to figure out at 6900-6969 rpm, the jetting is 0.69% lean and makes the bike sounds like a total POS. Lol, you armchair mechanics troubleshooting this bike from a Dirt Shark video are lame, probably just jealous deep down your favorite color OEM didn't launch this bike. This thing is awesome and is going to be an epic bike!
