Seems the best bikes are the ones that have had the years to work the flaws out. Extending production years might make sense. Hopefully Suzuki does ride this wave and brings...

1/11/2026 11:30am I think Suzuki has taken the long road to prove that change for the sake of change is unnecessary. It could be argued that they have the best performing bike on the track tonight. A decade of "development" and many other are not performing at the same level... Thats saying something.

Back in 2015 I wrote a story for Meta magazine chronicling Mike Healy and his story. I thought some of you who did not get a chance to read it at the time might enjoy it in video format. Unfortunately Mike passed away in 2024 but I think his story is one worth retelling.

Technically these are still just off season races and should be critiqued as such. Happy to see him do well tho. Maybe it's more of a telling tell to where the top tier contenders are at. 5/29/2025 6:58am Perhaps because 2-strokes aren't that competitive in MX/SX... And due to that, the market would be quite small and niche. Offroad however, 2-strokes are typically preferred and the market is enormous comparatively. Perhaps an XC style bike that could be set up for either would be a good option... But I bet they lean towards off road.

Just got off the phone with Daniel a little bit ago and this exact topic came up. Even he said it's not on any of us in media.
