What Is Your Pick For Best Boot For Enduro/Offroad?

I like my SG12's, don't have an issue with feeling the pegs though. 

The pre 2025 tech 7 would suck water in off the lower strap. You didn’t need puddles just wet enough tall grass would do it. I am not sure if the newer version fixed that. Sidis definitely run drier than tech 7. Tech 10 don’t have the same problem. They put a drain hole right under that lower strap.

Gaerne and Sidi pretty much trump everything in terms of toe and forefoot protection. Astars and Fox have a lot more flex on top of the toes and up to the balls of the feet. It is a trade off between that flex and protection. Making the midsole soft enough to give good peg feel also lessens the protection to that part of the foot. As far as I can tell there isn’t a boot that does both really well. 

A stars never last for me... 

When I ride off road and not moto... I wear forma now days... light... fairly flexible... and gnarly tread for those times when you have to hop off and help someone etc...

I've been wearing Tech 10's for moto and offroad for several years and other than being really warm in the summer time, have been great and my go to.  Being curious, I bought a pair of Instinct 2.0's about a year ago and for me they have great feel on the pegs but found myself getting more ankle soreness/stingers when track riding.  Also offroad when riding areas very sandy with whoops my calves get really sore.  Not an issue in Tech 10's.  The Fox boots only get worn now for more technical slow woods riding and dual sport rides.

Tech 7 enduro are the best do it all boots in my opinion. 

I have worn Sidi crossfires 1,2&3 forever. I have tried others as well Tech 10's don't dig the bootie, SG22's are probably the most comfortable, but if I get anywhere near water my feet are soaked. Sold those, and just picked up a pair of instinct 2.0 and the reviews saying they are the most comfortable out of the box is bullshit. They are breaking in though, and I think I am going to like them eventually. I think overall I still prefer sidi crossfire srs in a half size bigger than I wear in others. I ride both track and offroad btw.

They don't have a ton of protection, but I really like trials boots these days.  Gearne Balance had me feeling a bit under protected, but they're extremely comfortable.  I'm wearing the Alpinestars Tech T now.

SG22 enduros are waterproof 

I got these boots. Recommend for sure. Very inexpensive. I ride a 701, mostly dirt. Over 5k miles in dirt in 1 1/2 yrs.  Boots are practically new still.

I destroy A-Stars Tech 7 soles within 2-3 months (to be fair, I do ride A LOT)...and they don't have nearly the support I'm looking for compared to Sidi Crossfire 3 or Leatt 5.5, for example. However, I will say Tech 7's are the most comfortable boot ever made...and probably have the best general "feel" on the pegs, shifter, brake. But I'm not buying a new pair of boots every 3 months.
