7/20/2025 12:16pm I agree, it's great to keep the running order intact. The method of a guy running along in front of the riders seems unprofessional and likely to eventually end badly. The straight is plenty long for them to start out single file, or you could even setup a gate (like a ski gate or just two flags in the ground) and require the riders to go through it single file. A sequentially-falling starting gate would be away, but probably more cost than would be viable.

7/20/2025 11:55am The life style and the mind set of mx and SX in the 90’s was just peak at least for me. We had awesome music the birth of free riding/freestyle all the killer movies like Crusty’s we had the King and the the gear oh man and the custom painted helmets! Loved it.

7/20/2025 11:48am Prep the tracks like Washougal yesterday so we can actually see some good racing. No one wants to watch slot car boat racing which ends up happening often with the deep rut-o-fests.

7/20/2025 2:30am While I'm not going to argue with your personal track preference, the track provided for great racing today with tons of passing in both classes. It was nice to see everyone be able to move around in some of the berms instead of being stuck in long ruts. Do you disagree that there was good racing there today?

7/19/2025 5:11pm Everyone talks about growing the sport, how about prepping the track like they did today so guys aren't stuck in ruts for 3/4 of the track? That was great to see some racing finally.

7/19/2025 5:10pm Yup…this track was prepared very nicely….rut-o-cross is lame…Ruts belong in corners…not all the way down every straight…let them move around on the track a bit…

7/19/2025 5:10pm Yes, we need other tracks to follow suit. We finally had true moto battles today...not follow-the-leader boat racing.

7/19/2025 5:10pm I’ve always liked riding ruts, but not a big fan of racing in them, under pressure. Easy to make mistakes when you get tired. But today’s track raced well !!

7/19/2025 5:10pm It was amazing that when the track isn’t ripped up to their ear lobes and requires more throttle control that the racing dynamic changes quite a lot.
