I can’t wait until all the manufacturing of plastic crap is back in the US and everybody has a high paying job making junk to sell to other highly paid junk makers

Most of us approve using tariffs to help level trade imbalances. Where we diverge is Trump’s approach, which lacks specificity and changes frequently. This creates long term strategy and investment challenges that override short term gains. If the WH would simply define the rationale and make tariff application less about retribution then we could benefit from the revenue uplift and allow foreign and domestic enterprises to plan accordingly. And look less like he’s pulling the numbers out of his ass.

It brought the bad economy to much worse actually the worst ever. Mid Feb 2021 78 loads 2 months earlier 1.7 mil 200 mi radius of Chicago . Real bad now lack of loads record bankruptcy, wages are cut 40% . Co.s are operating off millions in loans they dont actually make anything. Sales people loosing there jobs. Tariffs it’s about make the government great again not the country.

So the administration wants to censor certain advertising but has absolutely no shame in running a full on Tesla AD in front of the White House. What a two faced phony Trump is. Another proof that you have no clue how tariffs actually work. On another note, I can assure you that the main reason why we Europeans won’t buy your stuff is not tariffs. Your food is poisoned. Your cars are simply not competitive, and your consumer goods are often of poor quality. In short: it’s not protectionism keeping us away, it’s your own standards.

Heavy tariffs, you are hilarious, there was a free trade agreement (IE not tariffs) between the US and Canada and the US and Mexico, not to mention the following countries... Australia Bahrain Chile Colombia Costa Rica Dominican Republic El Salvador Guatemala Honduras Israel Jordan Korea Morocco Nicaragua Oman Panama Peru Singapore Trump tariffed all these countries, but exempted Russia!

Fine, don't look it up. How about you explain your original post? "How exactly are you paying for it. What we've been paying for is Europe's "free" health care being subsidized by tariffs on us. And pharmaceuticals that all previous administrations have allowed us to pay 10s and 100s of times the price so they can buy dirt cheap." Stay ignorant my friend.
