Even the worst National tracks are worth checking out, for an mx fan. A short 15 minute drive makes it a no brainer. Have fun!

I’ve known Tony since I was in eighth grade, he’s always been a super intense person who was hard on himself when he didn’t achieve his goals, and he brought that intensity into his relationships with the boys. Overall, he is a really good person, but like every person, he has flaws. Thanks for talking about the jersey, it shows their character.

Great post. I agree. Mike is around my age so I always kept an eye on his amateur career. Somehow the 13 year old me ended up on the Alessi email list and one Christmas they mailed out dozens of race used jerseys from Loretta Lynn’s over the years! Tony is a good guy deep down I believe he just can’t see his own flaws. A1 this year was absolutely packed! I heard the over/under bridge is exclusively for California rounds because it’s too expensive to travel. That tunnel makes for great racing and track designs! Hopefully Supercross can bring it back on the road. I also like Anaheim being a baseball stadium, the diamond makes them super creative with track design imo.

Anyone catch the discussion on pulp this week? Sure seems like Windham / quad lock are going to be Honda amateur and 250 program in the future with factory Honda being potentially 450 only and more 250 guys getting full factory support through quad lock. Basically quad lock being the Honda version of star. That's what I pieced together listening to it at least.

Not sure. Heard they were looking and talking to guys but I haven’t heard any one name for sure. Seems like Gilliam Farres would be the natural fit but I heard he doesn’t want to race in the US anymore.

Farres is crushing it right now. It would be really cool to see him give it another shot over here.
